Clean room, nice staff!

This was my 1st time staying at this property. The staff were kind, attentive and provided information as needed. The breakfast selection was not as ample as I expected based on other places I've stayed at. The room was clean although it had a damp, musty smell to it when we entered it. I always carry B&BW room spray, so that helped. The linens & towels were clean. The bathroom was a little awkward as to the location of the toilet tissue and the bathtub had markings in the corner that appeared to be slightly repaired. My only major concern was the door near the elevators that led to the outside. When we returned to the property & had to park on the side of the building (pool area), the door had a card key reader, but we pulled on the door and no card was needed. Apparently, the lock was broken. Major safety issue as anyone could just come in and go up to the room floors. I reported this issue and was expecting it to be repaired in the event we entered that door again, & we did the next night. The door still had not been repaired. If I use this property again, I hope the door will be repaired. There was ample parking but be mindful that there is construction happening on Mill Road, which made exiting somewhat challenging. Overall, our stay was ok.

When I pulled into the La Quinta there were two homeless people half naked showering in the hose on the side of the building.. the front doors to the lobby didn't work.. there's security cameras that don't work.. there's no way to be sure that your vehicles are secure overnight.. this La Quinta was misrepresented on Expedia because it said airport West Palm Beach, it's nowhere near the airport.. absolutely worse Hotel I've ever attempted to stay at other than one in Franklin North Carolina a couple years ago that I had to fight with you guys to get my money back for.. I want all my money back

The Pancake machine is out of order so the breakfast was not much to offer, but room is nice & quiet & shower is clean

Nice and comfortable. I was overall pleased with the property.

The tv had problems, the lighting in the bathroom is poor, the dispensers for shampoo and conditioner were empty.

The staff was professional. Pool was clean. Fitness center was good. Breakfast was great. More ventilation is needed in the bathroom.
