Great location for first steps in Colombia, well maintained and clean property, many amenities, social events and great staff and to top it all off included breakfast.

Very good experience staff was marvelous. I had a private room and I noticed that it could be accessed from the outside through a window. If somebody wanted to get in, they could have.

The location is very good. They advertise that breakfast is included—and technically it is—but they don’t mention that you have to prepare it yourself. The “breakfast” consists of two eggs, a piece of toast, and a coffee. No fruit, no juice, no jam or jelly, no ham, no milk, nothing else. Additionally, one night there was no one at the reception. We, along with other guests, had to wait outside in the rain for almost 20 minutes. There was no number to call, we knocked several times, and no one answered, even though they advertise 24/7 reception. When we finally got in, the staff member was upset because we asked why no one had been at the front desk. The bathrooms also were not properly maintained. One day, the toilet was full of waste and nearly overflowing. I won’t be returning. I chose this place because of the positive reviews, but my experience was not good at all.

Well run and interesting place. Authentic Colombian feel. Had own room with en-suite. Balcony and lounge area. Great, helpful staff. Full kitchen and provided eggs and bread for breakfast etc. Safe neighborhood, lots of restaurants etc. Bit loud at night due to proximity of a club nearby.

Location, price and service by Camilo and Doña Alba N/A

Great location. Right next to pubs, restaurants and lively streets! The bathrooms could help with some plane to keep stuff while showering! You make your own breakfast!!

  • Engine customer Nov 2025

The staff was not very empathetic, open, or welcoming. I understand they have internal policies, but overall they did not seem friendly or motivated to make guests feel comfortable, with the exception of one of the receptionists (a woman ) and the young woman working at the bar. Access to the bar is quite inconvenient, as guests must go up the stairs, and it remains unused almost the entire day. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel, as the atmosphere feels rather dull and uninviting.

This is the best place to stay as a solo traveller who wants to go out in Poblado and meet people, be social... Also, there are many nice hammocks and a rooftop to chill on. The pool is very small though. The bathrooms were dirty, the trash was not cleaned often enough. The rooms are hot and very small, people come in late at night from a night out partying and the beds have no curtains. It is what it is. I'd still stay here again for few nights to go out!

came to stay 4 days, stayed 2 weeks . really nice place and good location due to its size it felt a bit empty / not easy to meet other travellers

    NA No hot water

  • Engine customer Aug 2023

Little swimming on the roof, perfect for the kids to cool down! The pool table as well! Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff that helps you out. The traffic nearby is noisy and gives bad smells on the terrace where you have breakfast. Breakfast can be good one day, and then the next day they don't have any fruit anymore... that was a pitty.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. When we arrived the police were at reception. Bad sign. Something had obviously gone down. The water had gone out in the entire district (obviously not the hostel's fault) but the location was not for us! Banging music, shrieking guests, and smelly drains! Party Central with a seedy vibe. The area was okay during the day, but took a nose dive after dark. Our balcony door didn't lock, but they fixed it there and then. This place is okay if you're 20, and don't require much sleep, but if you want a quieter time, avoid this area. We decided to check out early and the re-funded us no problem.
