    No nothing

I stayed for three nights. The hostel is located at a busy intersection, and the noise continues throughout the night—motorcycles, trucks, and music from nearby shops make it very difficult to sleep. The rooms are very small. There is no air conditioning, only a personal fan, which helps slightly with the heat. The lockers are only suitable for very small backpacks (around 30 liters at most). The rooms are fully open and no keys are provided—only a code to enter the hostel, which may feel less secure. Overall, the hostel feels neglected and lacks daily maintenance. It feels more like sleeping in a storage room than in proper accommodation.

Close to a lot of great things. The grocery is super convenient to the property as well. The mattress was worn out and the kitchen could use a lighter for the stove top and a spatula

I didn’t have breakfast included with my reservation, so I can’t comment on that part, but they did offer free coffee, which was nice. The location was great — close to a park and in the El Poblado area, so it was convenient and easy to get around. Overall, a pleasant stay! Overall, my stay was decent, but there’s a bit of room for improvement. The bathrooms could be a little cleaner and fresher, and the atmosphere might feel more welcoming with a bit more interaction or energy from the staff. Nothing major, just small touches that could make the experience even better.

    Meh. Meh.

Staff is wonderful and very friendly. At first the bed sheets were filled with hairs. The rooms are stuffy, barely any place to leave things and you have to hop over the things. The kitchen is not well equipped and very noisy (literally can’t hear talking)

Mixed feelings about the property. It is a comfortable place that I felt like at home. However I arrived late at night so I did not get a tour of the property. It is only 10 days later that I discovered that every night I was entitled to a free beer, because the person did not mention it during the tour. The rooms are really small and packed at the point where it is hard to walk when everybody leaves his bag. The hostel felt a bit run down (fan and lamp were not working in my cubicle), dirty (especially next to my bed, under the mattress and in the shower) I also found the shower very impractical with nothing to hangs your clothes properly. Also obtaining hot water is just chance. Something the toilets are not cleaned during multiple hours and it was not rare that I ended up in the bathrooms without any of the toilets being clean or with paper. Also the staff/people kept happened to eat some of my stuff in the fridge.

The hostel was really close to the busy scene in Medellin. Provenza and other popular locations are really close by. I got to meet some cool people at the hostel which was really nice. The hanging at the rooftop after a night out with other visitors was really nice.

    Staff, location, price/value

Great staff! Not a super quiet area. However the staff is super helpfull and let me switch to their second location (did not charge me anything), which is about a 5 min walk from La Familia Parque poblado, where its not that bussy and quieter.

    Poor

  • Engine customer Mar 2025

The bed was comfortable, had a shelf and my own charger, light and fan in my space. There was a nice rooftop area. This hostel is very social, great for solo travellers. Nothing.

  • Engine customer Mar 2025

The rooms were small and not spacious at all, and in addition there were complaints about bed bugs in our room and we had to move

  • Engine customer Mar 2025

The beds were super comfortable. Each bed has a curtain, light and fan. The social activities are great and help get to know others. There is ample hangout space with the rooftop and kitchen area. Being a smaller hostel, it’s easy to make friends. Great for solo travellers.

The staff were very helpful. I liked the social events on the rooftop as well, they provided a good opportunity to meet people. Also the free coffee in the mornings was nice. The location is good, close to the other hostels and lots of good bars and cafes. The smaller rooms are quite small(not really much space to store your backpack) but ok if you’re there for a short stay. They also can get quite hot and noisy but there’s a fan at each bed, and some earplugs help with the noise.
