Built around a 400-year old winery, the 5-star Vedema Resort overlooks the rolling vineyards, the Aegean Sea, and the colorful sunsets. Pretty property right in the center of Megalachori. The hot tub in our unit was extremely old and broke down multiple times during our stay. We requested compensation since we booked the extra large for this feature and were promised remuneration. Concierge never followed up.

Wonderful historic property with beautiful outdoor pool areas. Rooms are spacious along with outdoor patio areas. Comfortable beds and a relaxing environment in Santorini. Food quality at restaurant was not as expected. Needs to reevaluate food and beverage program.

Vedema was perfect in all aspects of our stay. The staff was so kind and the facilities of the hotel spotless. I have to give special thanks to the reception team for accommodating all our requests and being always there to suggest nice places to visit in the Island. The waiters and the cleaning staff was also very professional. Thanks Vedema resort we will surely come back again!!

Just be careful when booking because the pictures you go off to book are not accurate. They had photos of a renovated room and when we got there we got a very run down ‘version’ of that room. Personally I would not even say it’s the same version but according to the staff it is. I voiced my issues and requested a refund due to not receiving what we booked and booking under their false advertisement and was told I should have cancelled 21 days prior (I would have if I knew what I was getting). I ended up leaving the property due to the rooms not being comfortable enough to have an 18 month old in. We lost money and I was devastated due to this trip being for our wedding.

Its a beautiful hotel in a wonderful quiet setting. The maid service had to be pushed at time - but responded quickly once pushed.
