Treasury on Collins Melbourne is a modern apartment hotel within the historic Bank of Australasia building. Only 8 stories high, it is well-known for its architectural beauty and central location. Off-site self-parking is available at a nearby secure parking location. - It is a 20-minute walk from Marvel Stadium - All include a 40 or 55-inch smart TV with free Netflix. Guests arriving at the hotel should enter via Queen Street, where there are no stairs and a 2-minute drop-off zone for vehicles (look out for the entrance with wrought iron gates just next to the IGA supermarket). The hotel is located on the corner of Collins and Queen Streets and does have a grand Collins Street entry; however, there are stairs, which can be difficult with suitcases. Children aged 8 years and below are not allowed to use the Heritage King Loft Apartment and Heritage Balcony Suite rooms due to climbing hazards.

The room was spacious and well provided with the bed ever so comfortable. Location was excellent, my conference was only half a block away, an easy walk and the staff were always friendly and helpful, nothing was a problem. Loved the happy hour and anytime snacks idea, fabulous selection and readily available all day. Hopefully I can return soon. Thank you Treasury. For me being vegetarian I would have liked more options at breakfast particularly fresh choices but that being said I know its difficult to cater to all needs. Loved the Chia pudding.

Absolutely beautiful aesthetically - meticulously maintained with tasteful decor , thoughtful touches (like the refreshments all day on the mezzanine floor ) and discreet attentive staff ….Always felt cosy , private , peaceful and elegant ….After a long day pursuing work activities and fitting in exercise and meetings , this place was a haven of calm beauty and relaxation …. I like the sustainable thinking behind toiletries /laundry arrangements and bedding …. The only real drawback was that on the weekend , there were no real close by breakfast /coffee venues - problematic if you’re limited in any way with mobility or travelling with older family members /friends … The steps at the entry off Collins St are difficult to navigate on arrival with suitcases /heavy bags ( perhaps a discreet sign at entry could direct you to the Queen st entrance which has a gentle sloped entry so much easier to navigate … Perhaps a bedside carafe /glass for water would be a thoughtful addition and a discreet night light (for those who rise repeatedly at night !)

We loved staying here. The room the excellent staff, the breakfast, the opening window for fresh air, the use of the lounge. It’s been a joy.

The staff were very friendly and helpful especially the young lady on reception when we arrived after 11pm on Friday night. A welcoming warm smile and reception. I scored Location as 4/5 but that is personal to what we required. It's in the heart of Collins St and handy for trains & trams. Room size and facilities were good. Again very personal but at this price I wasn't keen on the basic buffet breakfast but the all day snacks & coffee were welcome. With the limited space, the bathroom was a bit cluttered with unnecessary "knick knacks" Beds not as comfortable as hoped for but again a very personal experience.

Rooms are spacious. Good breakfast as part of the room package. The evening glass of wine on the house is a good idea and gets many guests to the bar. The Treasury is an older style building - same may like this and others may not. I thought it was OK.

Quirky and beautiful hotel. Lovely friendly staff. welcome drinks a really nice touch. The cleanest hotel bathroom I’ve ever seen. Breakfast delicious . Excellent location nil

Excellent stay overall. The rooms are beautifully renovated, very comfortable and spotlessly clean, with all the facilities we needed. The breakfast was excellent, and we particularly appreciated the open kitchen where we could grab a snack at any time. The location is also fantastic – very convenient for exploring Melbourne. Overall, a very well-maintained property with thoughtful touches that made our stay especially enjoyable. There was very little we didn’t like. The only small improvement we would suggest is adding a heater in the bathroom, particularly for the colder months.
