We loved everything about the property! It was very clean and private. It was very quiet with no traffic noise even though we were so close to town. Lovely noises of wildlife. The food was out of this world. The staff were exceptional, no request was too much to ask. We felt so at home we didn’t want to leave. Nothing! It was amazing.

From the moment I arrived, this hotel truly felt like home. The entire team is large, incredibly kind, and genuinely caring, making every interaction warm and personal. The service is outstanding in every detail. The location is perfect, the villas are spacious, beautifully designed, and offer exceptional privacy. Everything about the stay felt comfortable, peaceful, and thoughtfully managed. This is not just a hotel, it’s a place where you feel welcomed, relaxed, and truly taken care of. I can’t wait to return.

The people were incredible. We felt so welcomed and they were so willing to help us with whatever we needed. The property was beautiful and the food was great too. The room was relaxing, clean and they even had extra thoughtful amenities.

Desa Hay is a wonderful place to stay in Canggu! Everything at the hotel/ villa was great. All the staff were very friendly, accommodating and the service was superb. All requests were responded to and fulfilled within minutes - direct WhatsApp communication with reception/ butler. They always welcomed us warmly, responded promptly and went above and beyond. The villa itself is modern and beautifully decorated to a very high standard with everything you could want or need. The villa’s outdoor area is wonderful - the pool, seating area and sun beds are nestled in a 'jungle' like garden, which is a very peaceful and tranquil environment - a nice contrast to the hustle and bustle of Canggu. Housekeeping always made sure the room was very clean and well kept. The breakfast is especially delicious and fresh, whether you go to the restaurant or enjoy in-room dining. I would recommend booking a car transport with the hotel throughout the stay for excursions and going to/ from restaurants, cafes, etc. The drivers are friendly and knowledgable of the local area. Desa Hay went above our expectations!

The room was stunning. It was immaculately clean and staff was more than willing to do anything we needed. They were polite and only came to get our dishes when we told them it was okay. They set up free morning yoga. They provided daily free snacks. I loved the cookies so much I asked if I could buy more before checking out and they gave me a whole container for free! I have nothing bad to say! I loved this place! Absolutely nothing

Everything!!! Don’t think twice about booking this property. The food, the staff, the accommodation, the complimentary yoga with the wonderful Sandra, it was all fabulous!!! Special shout out to Mandy. Special touches like complimentary laundry and soft drinks with souvenirs were a welcome and added bonus. Nothing!

We like everything about Desa Hay. We have stayed here before, and we couldn't wait to come back. The villa is very beautiful and offers complete privacy. The restaurant offers delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners, and the staff are all wonderful and kind people. We can't wait to come back again. Nothing whatsoever. It's a wonderful place to stay.

The property was thoughtfully designed in its layout and material selection. Our villa felt very private and the option of plunge pool, hammock, egg chair or outside bath left us feeling so very spoiled for choice. Absolutely nothing.

So well thought out and so many special little touches. You won’t have a stay like this anywhere else. We were celebrating our engagement and Desa Hay staff were so attentive and kind. We really couldn’t fault our stay. Nothing!

Attention to detail was immaculate. The rooms had everything we needed and more. The pool area is beautiful. The restaurant cocktails and food, including the breakfast, exceeded our expectations. Most importantly, all of the staff at this family run resort were wonderful and made us feel very much at home. Special mention to Eka in the dining area for all her help and kindness! Was also great to hear how the resort is giving back to the local community through its support of a nearby orphanage (Chloe Orphans Bali).
