The property was beautiful This property is beautiful but it lacks so much things . This is a fair bit away from the town of meru and there is no taxi service . We were just lucky we were helped by a lovely french lady and a owner of a hair salon between them both they organised a friend of theres to take us to our accomodation So please bear that in mind that this is a distant away from the train station . The owner needs to put more effort into greeting there guest . We pretty much checked in and that was it through the time we were there . There was nothing in the way of coffee tea or milk in a shared dinning room I had to ask for coffee and milk usually these are provided also the owner took the milk out of the fridge that was provided so if we wanted another drink it was without milk . Also the dinning area is down stairs seperate from the rooms to get to them you are greeted to stairs to get to the rooms . But that’s not a problem the problem was is that the toilets down stairs in the dining area were locked so if you needed to use the bathroom you had to go up stairs to your room ? In the rooms was pretty much a bed desk that was it We will not return even though the property was beautiful that was it .

With the exception of some poor pillows on the beds, everything was perfect. A friendly welcome, typically French characterful rooms. Clean, spacious, nicely decorated, comfortable, good storage and an excellent breakfast.. Beautiful country location a short drive from town or village. Highly recommended.. Only the pillows. They had been washed and the filling had gone lumpy.

Rural quiet location No bath towels or soap/shampoo

Lovely property in a beautiful and peaceful location. A perfect stopover point for us coming from Eurotunnel to our home in the south of France. Good sized room with a wonderfully comfortable bed. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, thank you.

We are repeat visitors as we have a relative living in Bornel Belle Eglise which is quite close by. It is always clean, comfortable and quiet. We wish could have stayed an extra night or two but other commitments meant we could only have one night this time. Hope it is not too long before we come back again. We forgot to fill our flask with boiling water before we left!

Very quiet rural location. The room was a good size and well decorated and with useful furniture - a small writing table, two normal chairs, a coffee table and comfortable chair. Good buffet breakfast served in the dining room downstairs. The wasn't anybody at reception when I arrived, but I'd only made the booking a few minutes before, and it was a rainy evening, so it wasn't surprising. I soon found the manager in the house across the yard. The holder for the the shower head was a little loose, but just about remained in place. Other than that, everything was fine.

Repeat visitor so we know what to expect and are never disappointed. It has been good to see the careful development of the old farm buildings over the years

I arrived around 7pm after a long day of cycling. The lady at reception was very welcoming and let me keep my bike in one of the barns overnight. She also helped me with my bags and ordered dinner for me (since I was feeling tired and my French was lacking) The location was excellent for a quiet night's sleep and the breakfast really set me up for a good day's riding. The common kitchen was also very useful. I can't speak highly enough of it; worth every penny.
