Intown suites in metairie is a scam. If you like sleeping with bugs book this hotel.

The pictures were Photoshop. Everything is old writing on the wall roaches everywhere nats everywhere. Dangerous people hanging outside in the day and night the employees hanging with his very close with the people that’s outside selling and using drugs. It’s just a total mess to stay away from me. America CHEF SHAKEDOWN no this place get a complete F +1000 stay away. I didn’t like everything

The location was ideal to get to work. The ceiling was falling apart, roaches coming from everywhere, guests smoking in front of the door, sink stopping up, and maid service was supposed to be completed every thursday, and it was conpleted the day before I checked out.

We booked the room for 6 nights as we had a death in the family and had to attend a funeral. We turned the lights out to go to bed, the someone wanted water so we turned the lights back on and 100 roaches were everywhere, on the refrigerator, in the sink, on the wall, on the floor, we freaked out, called front desk, no answer. We purchased roach killer to no avail. The place was filthy dirty, there were three towels in the room, the refrigerator looked as it had not been cleaned in 6 mo. Then there was the smell of Marijuana all night, absolutly unacceptable. Strange people walking around, coming and going. We felt very unsafe so we looked for another place to stay, we complained to front desk 1st thing in AM, they said we are sorry and refunded $50 out of the $397. This is how you solve the problem, again unacceptable. We contacted the corporate office and got no help, it was as ifbthey didn't care..WoW! So we lost $300. What a Rippoff!

Some rooms my be clean and fine to stay in the 3 I looked at ,the cigarette smoke smell was so bad it would make your clothes smell and your food taste bad . Pay a little extra and a cleaner hotel.
