Friendly accommodating staff and great restaurant We had a leak in our room, rooms were smaller than expected, we transferred rooms due to the water leak

Lovely property aesthetically The AirCon in the room wasn’t working. They told me breakfast wasn’t included, I showed them it was as that’s what I selected when booking, when checking out they again tried to charge for breakfast even though it was included.

The very comfortable bed. Poor communication between hotel and guest (I sent a message before my stay regarding airport transfer through Booking.com and followed it up but only got a reply a month later. I used my international number to try and ring the property but it kept on going to a full voicemail box. I had to ring from my hotel in Oaxaca to be able to connect. My cousins who were also staying tried to contact the property from the States and no reply. They even emailed IHG directly. Nothing. I had to ring from Mexico for them. During our stay, the whatsapp provided to communicate with the Concierge was very ineffective. The saving grace was Angel at Concierge who seemed to be the only one who knows what they are doing.) Better sound insulation: I asked for a quiet room a few months ahead because we are light sleepers. We were given a room next to works being done. I complained about it and was told it would not go on through the night. We could hear next door constantly move bags n chairs.

Room was spacious. We enjoyed the Nespresso in the room and rooftop pool Air conditioner could not get the temperature of the room below 24 degrees despite asking maintenance to help.

Perfect location in Polanco. The staff were very helpful and kind. Big clean bathroom in the room. Delicious food and drink in the restaurant. Amenities were lacking in the room. You had to make a special request for basic items like a coffee maker or an iron. The room was quite cold and the heat wasn’t working but they brought up a space heater immediately, which was nice.

Great location in Polanco - lots of (expensive/trendy) restaurants, bars and gym/yoga studios around. The decor was lovely, big spacious room, massive bathroom with walk in shower. Very comfortable. Rooftop bar area was lovely as well. No tea or coffee maker in the room - you had to go downstairs in the morning to grab a complimentary drink. Not a big deal but if you want to sleep in or feel unwell it’s not ideal.

best location in the city as its close to best restaurants and attractions breakfast was average with very cold area with all of the heaters in the breakfast place not working due to all of the gas tanks empty. door also left open with 45 degree outside temperature.
