Clean room daily, beach view, staff is very attentive and helpful.. very clean hotel

It does not match the pictures on the listing. On my recent trip to Miami, I decided to stay at the Cadillac Hotel after doing some research. I normally browse through pictures in the room description and there was a balcony pictured but when I checked in balcony. Also the hotel was under renovations which is fine but I feel like if you booked an oceanfront view room you should only be able to see sand water and maybe some palm trees. 60% of my view was a dirty mouldy pool with forklifts around it and workers here and there and behind it was the ocean. The difference between ocean front and ocean view means ocean front. You should see nothing but water ocean view means you might see the ocean in the distance. I still feel like they didn’t give me the correct room. after complaining to Expedia they called the manager and they would not switch my room. They said I could only downgrade because there was nothing available. They also said they would not honour a refund so I could check in somewhere else. The men that work at the door didn’t open the door for me for the first two days because they were too busy talking and then day three and four they started doing their jobs and actually opening the door. Housekeeping will knock one time and then they’ll just open the door without warning this happened to me three times during my stay. The only decent service I had was the guy that brought up the room service. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

More transparency when booking that pool is under repair

Sadly the pool was out of action completely and I then spent several hours dealing with an administrative error where I had been overcharged. Helpful staff but I lost 1 night of a 2 night break

Pool and area under construction. We were advised well in advance so no issues, but made it hard to rate the amenities higher. Location and staff were amazing

Loud no vibe tikki bar pool or hot tub and had to shuttle to another hotel to swim while they were nive but always full one time said it was overcrowded

The maintenance men and the guys that helped with doors and luggage were AWSOME. The staff behind the desk didn’t smile much or even asked if things were ok. Being that thy were under construction my husband and I thought they would be more accommodating. Didn’t feel welcomed at all. Our oceanfront room was beautiful until you looked down into the dirty pool with construction sites beneath us. It was our anniversary and through conversation with hotel prior to getting there I was asked if we were celebrating anything. I mentioned our anniversary and nothing was said at the front desk. We told staff at the restaurant and we thought the waiter was getting us a small shot of lemonchello at no cost. We ended up paying for a drink we didn’t like. Terrible experience here. Hopefully for future visitors the new renovations will be enjoyable and staff will be better trained. They also didn’t tell us the would have to hold $700!!! We thought we only had to pay $245 for resort fees smh we were short money most of the trip because of this. The lock box also locked our passports in right before we checked out! It was broken. Took maintenance some time to get our passports out. Do not book here until November. That’s when they are supposedly going to be done with renovations. We booked in March… found out they started renovations 3 days before our trip here! No pools, no tiki bar, no outside amenities. Beach was ok.Eden Roc was our place to go for all pool amenities. Book there! BEAUTIFUL

Very disappointing experience. Just 3 days before our stay, I received an email saying the hotel pools were under renovation and that we could use the pools at another hotel, about a 15-minute walk away (with golf cart transportation). By then, it was too late to cancel and book another hotel, so we stayed anyway. The worst part was paying for an ocean view, only to look out the window and see a construction site instead. This should have been disclosed much earlier and clearly when booking. I would not stay here again.

The hotel is locate in a good area. The staffs were kind and friendly.

Intimidating Atmosphere: This constant staring felt like aggressive monitoring and made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. Exorbitant Pricing: The cost of the breakfast is far too high for the quality and selection provided. The price was 35$ per person and if you want to have eggs for breakfast they said you have to upgrade with another 18$ more. We ask to concierge to call a taxi. He sent to us one of his friends and he charged us double price from hotel to airport. I think the administration must to investigate on this matter. We are very disappointed!

La piscina estan remodelandola , no habia piscina y encima cargan mucho dinero de la estancia por sevice feed del hotel cada noche 150 de deposito y los precios a consumir en el hotel elevadicimos

The pool is being renovated and we had to walk a lot and wait to get to the other pool. Everything was old. The beds were not the best!

Pool area is closed until November, no access to the beach. not noted on their website

Rooms are outdated and pool is out of service due to renovations. Food was okay. Nice to have the beach on-site.

Muy mal que no informaron previamente al momento de realizar una reservación por 10 días que el hotel entraría en remodelación el 20 de julio.

There were a few disappointments, though. We were surprised that beach umbrellas required an additional fee, which we weren’t expecting. On our first night, we stayed in an upgraded pool-view room. Unfortunately, we found a small lizard in the room. The staff handled the situation very well and moved us to a partial ocean-view room. While we appreciated the effort, the new room was a disappointment. It was a corner room on the fourth floor, and to actually see the ocean, you had to step outside and look around the corner of the building. I definitely wouldn’t consider it a true partial ocean view. It also felt like the view was upgraded, but the room itself was downgraded. The room looked very basic, and the bathroom felt outdated. There was paint on the bathroom tiles, cracks in both the shower and the sink, and overall it didn’t feel like the standard I expected from a Autograph Collection property. Overall, the staff were excellent and did their best to make things right, and we truly appreciated that. However, because of the room condition and the extra beach charges, I’m not sure we would choose to stay here again.
