First and foremost, Isabelle the host. She went above and beyond. She had a room ready early, she made us a delicious dinner, she drove me to the market, and she drove us to the train station .The property and the interior are quite lovely. Dinner and breakfast (extra fee) was delicious. Enjoyed the greeting I received from the resident kitty. Very minor. Both the electric kettle and coffee maker needed cleaning but it was the middle of the night so I didn't want to bother her.

Beautiful place, cozy room and good bed, quiet, charging station for our EV, and such good food!!! Liked everything.

Isabelle was an amazing host. She was very friendly, attentive and provided awesome service. She even gave us a nice little gift to remember her châteaux on our last day.

The contact with Isabelle was very professional from the reservation time . When I arrived at Chateau de la Villeneuve Isabelle welcomed me personally and introduced me to the property and to my room. I appreciated her kindness and her wish for me to feel "at home". The room was spacious and at a very comfortable temperature considering it was one of the hottest day at 35 degrees. A few days before I arrived I contacted Isabelle to check if they served diner. She sent me immediately the menu she proposed for diner with local products. The table was set for me on the terrace facing the garden and I had an excellent diner with fresh products and local specialties. It was a delicious 4 course meal (including cheese) and good value for money at 25 euros. I felt like staying at friends house in a splendid well maintained and with all comfort large 18th century house. I recommend to anyone looking for a true French experience. N/A

Very warm welcome from the owner Isabelle who made us feel at home straightaway. Lovely property with comfortable spacious rooms and a large garden and outdoor seating. The wonderful home cooked supper with fresh garden produce was most welcome after a long day’s drive. Nothing

Very welcoming from Isabelle when we arrived and she was very keen to make sure our stay was good and anything we needed was sorted. She made us feel that her home was ours for the 2 nights stay. We had a day in the sun in the rear garden and had a relaxing time in what is a quiet part of the town. Plenty of safe parking behind electronic gates and enclosed perimeter wall surrounding the Chateau. A perfect stop over whilst driving through France with a nice twist of french living …. G+T….. No dislikes … To note. There is no lift to the first floor rooms, just steps around the “castle”. We were made aware of this before we booked and were happy with the amount of steps but it’s worth asking more questions if mobility issues are a problem.

The continental breakfast was good that the croissants were warm & we get to have a warm sunny side up egg … The room furniture changed , it was not as cozy as the photo shown on the website . The shower cabin has no door , only a shower curtain so that the water can easily goes out to the wooden floor in the bathroom it worries me & I couldn’t enjoy taking my shower .

Just out of the main town. Both Bertrand and Isabelle met me and made me feel very welcome. They organised a dinner reservation and also got up early for my departure. Lovely breakfast and a very comfortable bed. Ideal for a stop to/from the channel tunnel or a longer stay. Nothing
