OK, so I stayed in room 106. The key card could not open the door then Up entering the room. It smells like septic tank. That’s how bad it was all the residents complain about the same smell also receptionist at front desk. They are never there don’t think I would be staying there anymore. I recommended it to anyone. The smell from the sewer needs to be fixed. Also, the customer service needs to be taken care of a little bit better because when you need a receptionist, you can never find one.

The decor is charming and in keeping with the Art Deco atmosphere of South Beach. It is an easy walk to the beach and it is located in the heart of a vibrant area with lots of restaurant choices of all levels. The mode is casual but the professionalism of the staff is consistent. We were given a family style room upgrade from the standard room we had reserved and we were offered a free late check-out with two extra hours without even asking. Free coffee in the morning and a free drink at happy hour were welcome amenities. We did not try the restaurant on the premises but it looked inviting. We took the train to Miami and took an Uber to the hotel and other destinations. There is no parking for the hotel and traffic is bad, so I don't advise driving. I recommend this hotel for a good visit to South Beach.

I requested an early check-in after traveling, and instead of receiving assistance, I was repeatedly placed on hold while staff continued helping other patrons. It became very clear that my concerns were not being prioritized. As a Black traveler, I could not help but notice that white patrons appeared to receive more attention, patience, and accommodations than Black and Brown guests. That perception made an already frustrating experience even more uncomfortable. To make matters worse, I accidentally left behind a blanket that is deeply important to me emotionally. I suffer from PTSD related to my military service and recently returned from Kuwait. That blanket provides comfort and emotional support, yet the staff showed little empathy or urgency regarding the matter. Hospitality should include professionalism, fairness, and compassion toward all guests regardless of race or background. Sadly, that was not my experience here. I would not recommend this hotel based on the lack of customer care and sensitivity shown during my stay.

I have been staying at the WhiteLaw for over a decade, the staff is always pleasant and the rooms are clean. It’s close to the strip, places to eat, and shops. It’s worth the price.

Well located however I arrived after 7pm. Apparently there was only a room available next to the reception and the Mexican restaurant at the entry. Absolutely noisy.

Looked nicer in the photos online, older building, smelled of mildew maybe recently had a water leak. Also was not a 35$ dollar deposit like explained when booking the room, it was a 134$ hold that they placed on the card they don't tell you about until check in. Great area, did enjoy the stay. Just not what was expected.

Front desk is so helpful i highly recommend it, for sure we will be back.

Great location, with dining easily available on-site. Fantastic range of stores in South Beach Island. Hottest showers we have experienced in USA. Rooms are small. No sound proofing, and hallway sounds from chatter and door knocking are audible all evening/night. The hotel has a hostel type vibe. No tea/coffee facilities in rooms. No car parking, but managed a luggage drop of from a free space just outside the hotel.

Super cute boutique hotel in South beach. Room was super spacious and clean. Hotel staff were nice and accommodating. You are literally a street away from the main action which makes for a convenient, safe walk.
