Candlewood Suites Miami Exec Airport - Kendall by IHG

The room itself had silverware and plate ware for multiple night stay, as well as fridge, microwave, and stove but besides that nothing was remarkable. I really wanted to enjoy my stay here, but unfortunately it was disappointing overall. The hotel itself was okay, but there were several issues that really impacted our experience. The biggest problem was the smell in our room. It had a strong, unpleasant odor for our entire five-night stay. We eventually discovered it was caused by rotting food trapped inside the sink that had clearly never been cleaned out. It was frustrating to realize the source of the smell could have been prevented with better cleaning. The room itself was stocked with the basics when we arrived, but because the hotel doesn’t provide daily housekeeping, we eventually needed more essentials during our five-night stay. We ran out of towels and went to the front desk to request fresh ones, only to be told they had completely run out. I honestly couldn’t believe a hotel could run out of clean towels. To make matters worse, the room was only supplied with one roll of toilet paper. We eventually ran out and called the front desk multiple times requesting another roll, but no one ever answered the phone. We ultimately had to go to the front desk ourselves. Having only one roll of toilet paper for a five-night stay and being unable to reach anyone for assistance was incredibly frustrating. For $670 for five nights, I expected much better. A room that doesn’t smell like rotting food, enough basic necessities for the length of the stay, and a front desk that answers the phone are all reasonable expectations. While the staff we spoke with in person was polite, the overall experience was disappointing, and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again unless these issues are addressed.

It was close to my surgery center, met some other amazing guests, and the kids enjoyed the pool!

Todo bien me gustó quedarme en Candlewood porque tiene cocinita, nevera, cuenta con un excelente gym y piscina...el servicio de las habitaciones muy bueno, cambian toallas todos los dias...y tiene un café delicioso gratis en la tienda del lobby también frutas gratis...lo recomiendo
