The lady who ran the breakfast areas in the morning was fantastic. She was very personable and caring - consistently asked it everything was okay and/or needed. Desk staff greeted me consistently as I passed by. Desk chair in my room was broken.

Hotel is showing its age. Rooms were ok but bathrooms were dirty in the corners. Faucet leaked water all over the counters. Table in eating area was very unstable and wallpaper was worn out and scratched by the tables. Just showed signs of wear. Luggage carts were very dirty.

We were in room 214. That is right above the entrance. Every time the door opened and closed it sounded like thunder in our room. My husband says it needs new bearings. Was very annoying. He suggested that the manager sleep in that room. It might get fixed sooner. Also the air conditioner was very loud. Hair dryers were hanging behind the door in the bathroom. Had to ask where it was. Breakfast was not very good on Saturday but Sunday they had biscuits and gravy that were very good. Staff was very pleasant and answered our questions promptly and with a smile. Rooms were clean and comfy. Did not use the pool or fitness room so can't comment on that.

Room was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was standard items.

The "heated pool" surely was not heated! The pool was very cold! Stayed for 2 days and housekeeping did not do such a good job vacuuming the 2nd day. The breakfast was good. Did not have an alarm clock in the room as usually hotels do.The front desk employees were very nice and friendly. Definitely need to set pool heat much warmer!Specifically stayed at this hotel for the pool and was very disappointed was too cold to go in. Pool hours also should be until 11 pm and not 10 pm

Standard hotel located outside of Middlebury with decent sized rooms. Staff was professional but not overly friendly; rooms and common area were tidy but not spotless. For a quick overnight stay, it was fine.

Clerk did not know that Tina is a nickname of Christina and was refusing to let me check in to my room.

We enjoyed our stay . The room was very comfortable and clean. We were happy for the toilette stuff in the bathroom. The breakfast was really good with a large variety, as well. We would recommend staying here for sure!

We've stayed twice here. First time was a few years ago and it was fine. This time we noticed the room was a bit worn out and needed some updating. King size bed had standard size pillows which were not very comfortable and too small for the bed. The window was very cloudy and dirty, the lamp shades were on upside down, and our TV remote and didn't work. Otherwise the room was roomy and fine. Breakfast was ok. Standard waffles and various items. They had scrambled eggs which was a plus. The staff was very nice. All in all its an ok plus to stay. Just needs some updating and renewing.

Overall hotel was tired. Towels were very worn and old, pillows were flat and old, furniture in room was worn and banged up, bathroom was not very clean, shower area grout was dirty.
-
To say they couldn’t change it even though I called them 5 minutes later is a joke. Will never stay at a Hampton inn again. They are a scam and unhelpful

I liked it had a hot tub. Not to many hotels have those. And the room was very clean

Great breakfast!

Breakfast, Hot tub, bathroom. Not a real issue but the hot tub could have been a little hotter, but that's probably just me. Exit from parking lot really steep. Just a little farther from Shipshewana than we prefer but not terrible.
