Villa Stella Maris

The room was bigger and more plush that we imagined. The double bed that we requested was in fact two singles (with single bedding) in one double frame, which was OK but they were individual, with individual duvets. They were however very comfortable and we slept well. The furniture was wooden and tasteful, which went with the room well. The bathroom was also well appointed but no bath which is common these days (I like a soak in a bath..!) The staff were helpful and friendly and would check on local activities and information when asked. We only ate breakfast there and that was buffet-style and gave us huge choice. The evening restaurant was always busy, so I guess that that was good also. The lift was also a big bonus, with aching knees and hips following some strenuous walks..! A good sized and secure car-park, which was an additional cost but gave peace of mind. On our day of departure, we left before breakfast was served and the brilliant staff prepared a bag of filled rolls, yogurt and fruit for our journey..! Excellent..! Nothing much really. My better half (a carer for elderly) thought that the mirrors needed a decent clean and the complimentary tea bags that we had used, were not replaced when the room was cleaned. Uses tea pots were not cleaned either but these are trivial and we corrected them ourselves. There was some building work next door but this was not an eyesore and wasn't that intrusive. It has to be some at sometime or other and we were out every day on excursions, so this did not bother us.

A beautiful old hotel with charm and flair. Our room was a beautiful corner room, spacious and light. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast delicious. The hotel is in a noisy corner of town and may not be the preferred place for people that want to go to bed early.

Breakfast was good, for the money, the staff will prepare eggs as part of the breakfast how you want.

It is a cozy and friendly place. The check-in was a bit confusing.

great localisation, close to beach and town centre , perfect breakfast, big open space apartment, friendly staff. kitchen sink not connected so kitchen area not useable, bad water pressure in the shower, two pieces of sugar for 4 people- no coffee or tea.

The Pierogi here are spectacular. Thanks to the Ukrainian staff. Only my mums and grandmas were better ;)

Nice little hotel near the sea and near the pier

The overall look of the hotel was very good. The hotel was relatively modern. The room was nicely furnished and the bathroom was small but the decor was modern. The shower was really small.

The location is perfect, just a short walk away from the beach and the mole. But also a nice walk to the national park There's a lot to do around the hotel. The people of the hotel are very friendly. We got a breakfast package because we left really early and this was really freshly made bread and bund, yoghurt, fruit, juices and water, it tasted really good on our way back home. There were no coffee/tea facilities on the room, we get up around 7 am and breakfast starts at 8, so that would be very welcome as a starter.

I liked almost everything but the free wifi wasn't always easy to connect to in all the rooms.
