Almost everything was perfect. Host super helpful and friendly, quick to answer questions, very available and shared helpful tips about Milazzo. The room was very spacious, spotless and modern - my kids were impressed with the luxurious feeling of the building and room! Super clean, great bathroom and showers. Located in the middle of the city centre, close to everything - shops, cafés, restaurants, and the harbor. Beach (one of the best we saw in Sicily) maybe 15-20 mins walk away. The breakfast that was included was at a very Sicilian cafe next door. Staff there was also super friendly, and helped us (Scandinavians) to understand what how breakfast was eaten in Sicily (it's quite different from Scandinavia!). It basically consists of Granita (a slush of different flavors; chocolate, peach, lemon, strawberry, etc.) with cream on top, in which you dip your brioche (sweet bun), along with croissants, and other sweet things. And of course great coffee (you can order whatever Italian coffee you want). At first we were a little skeptical for this sweet breakfast (we are used to bread, cheese, ham, juice, yoghurt, eggs, etc.), but after day one we couldn't wait to have breakfast there again. An experience! We were very satisfied with our stay as a whole, but one of the nights (Saturday, the day we arrived) there was a nightclub open from 10pm to 01 am just beneath our room, and the music was super loud (as if it was played inside the room). The host informed us about this before hand, however on the same day. Something to be aware of and if you're sensitive, maybe check with the host on beforehand if this is every weekend. For us however, it wasn't a big problem, since it was only one of the nights and the club closed already at 01.

The lack of a 24hr Reception service, which is unsual for an Hotel. Entering the building was a bit of challenge sometimes as it was done through a PIN code and a card, but the system seemed a bit faulty.

Hotel was 10 - 15 minutes from beach and next to the area where you find many restaurants gelato places and coffees. Room was super clean with a small balcony with a small view to the port and to the town square. The hotel has THE BEST TERRASE with THE BEST VIEW on town and sea. For sure try to book breakfast there if you choose this lovely hotel. It was a spectacular experience. Receptionist did not know english like in other small towns so We were not surpriced but it would be nice that they know at least some phrases. There is a disco place righ next to hotel called SkyLab which we did not know before booking. Please do not book this hotel during weekends if you want to sleep. Disco was taken also on the street and we heart music from the street from this disco. We were up until 2am - I am 32 years old and I really wanted to sleep. It was very loud.

Clean space with easy online check-in and check-out. Balcony was a bonus and it was located right near the ferry port. Great water pressure in the shower, which we had been missing! Quite loud throughout the night with traffic/people talking on the street.

Easy independent check in, very clean, beautiful bathroom with nice toiletries and lots of towels. Great balcony with a view, table and comfortable chairs. Mini bar fridge didn’t cool enough and balcony door didn’t lock on the one side so it was a bit noisy at night (neither issue was significant)

Location was easy walking distance to the port and supermarket. Lovely breakfast included at nearby cafe, who also provided a take away breakfast for part of our group who headed off early the catch the ferry to the Isole Eolie.
