staff took care of our car while in Lipari Shower spills over the bathroom floor. Could have been designed a bit better.

There was an excellent breakfast, daily, with lots of options. Relaxing around the pool.

Was great for a one night stay

Excellent informative desk manager.....we rented bikes and enjoyed the local roads, riding out to the cape area and the surroundings. The breakfast was average for hotels of this nature....we enjoyed comfort and a very good sleep despite being on a relatively busy road A few sundry breakfast goodies from local bakeries etc would be well received

Location, size of room, bathroom. Staff was very efficient. Cranes blocking view of harbor from balcony. There was a language barrier w most staff but that is expected in small town.

Unfortunately, there was construction going on across the street. I know it’s not the hotel’s fault but I wish I was notified prior to booking.

Short walk over to the ferry terminal. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Not much of a view but only staying 1 night for the ferry the next day

It’s running kind of old, for one night was ok.

The location of this hotel is excellent, just diagonally across the street from the Milazzo Port entrance (5 minutes walk) for the Liberty Lines Fast ferry hydrofoil. This hotel is quite modern and comfortable. Before arriving to the hotel, we spent all day from catching a morning flight from Tunis, Tunisia to Catania, Italy by connecting through Rome. Afterward, we got on the airport shuttle and spent 2 more hours to arrive in Milazzo port. With not much sun light left for the day, we wandered around the Milazzo city center and found a great seafood restaurant hidden inside an ally. All in all, after an evening stroll, a warm shower and a comfortable bed, we were rejuvenated to start another journey in Lipari. Nothing.

We chose this hotel for its perfect location to the port to visit the Aeolian islands. From the minute we arrived we were greeted by all the staff with a friendly manner and a big smile. Even though we could not really speak Italian they went out of their way to help us and communicate the best they could. Would like to give a special mention to Simona who from the very beginning from booking back in Australia, she was very kind and helpful. Always answering my many questions. Every morning in the breakfast area a beautiful Mariella greeted us so warmly and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and waited on us with whatever we wanted. I would 100% recommend Hotel La Bussola. We hope to come back one day. Thank you Paul & Sandra
