Whortleberry Studio B&B

Gem of a property, hidden away in the centre of Porlock. Spotlessly clean and larger than average room, with seating area. Small enclosed garden to the rear for our two pooches and a parking space. Excellent location in the centre of Porlock, no need to drive, just walk everywhere. Breakfast is amazing, large choice that you order the day before. Something for everyone. Helen and Shaun are very welcoming hosts and if you have time, definitely stop for a cream tea or one of their delicious cakes. All home made! We will certainly be back. Nothing!

It’s a great studio room - set up outside the back of the property and fenced all around so you are in your own secret spot and it’s quite roomy - very clean and comfortable. It’s the only room and so you are treated to being sole guests by the lovely couple that run the tea rooms. The cooked breakfast was exceptional - high quality sausages and bacon and plenty of it. Fresh ground coffee and plenty of toast. My wife is vegan and so they made vegan sausages and hash browns. It’s in a great location, quiet and hidden away. We were very pleased. We’d definitely go again. Lovely people.

Very clean and spacious. Perfect location. Secure garden for the dog. Very private with your own parking space outside the gate. Great choice of breakfast with lovely hosts Sean and Helen. Ideal base for walks or trips.

The central Village location. The stunning breakfast. The cleanliness. The level of comfort and privacy. Just a small suggestion - a slightly bigger fridge would be great.

The studio was lovely, very comfortable and Shaun and Helen are charming and thoughtful hosts. Only regret is we didn’t find time to sample their cream tea in their delightful cafe. Will definitely be back! Nothing

Helen and Shaun are very lovely hosts :) the room was great and we really couldn't have asked for anything more from our stay! Little refreshments were also restocked each day which was lovely of them. The room is clean and comfy. Their B&B room is out the back of their place which makes it feel nice and private. They also catered well for my vegan diet :)

When arriving (2 hours early) Helen and Shaun were very accommodating and we went straight into the studio. We were treated to a tea/coffee on the house which was lovely after a 4 hour drive. The studio was light and airy, very clean and had all you could wish for including a doggy box with blankets and bowls for the dog. The garden was delightful . Breakfast was plentiful and fresh from local produce. We will definitely be back. Thanks for everything Jane and Andy N/A

Exceptional

Very comfortable and well equipped studio. Having the garden to use too is a real bonus. Great location in the village and on site parking too. All good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Studio. The welcome was warm, the accommodation was spotless and an excellent breakfast was served in the adjoining tea room. The bonus of a little garden was a big plus, especially as we had our dog with us. Would highly recommend this Porlock gem if you are looking for a cosy retreat in this lovely village. Nothing

Superb

Just returned from a 2 night stay at Whortleberry Studio B&B. Helen and Shaun are lovely hosts, very welcoming and have lots of local knowledge. The studio is bright, very clean, quiet, and although steps from High Street very secluded with it's own garden. It has tea making facilities, with fresh milk provided daily. The parking space was very much appreciated. Breakfast was served in the tea rooms, it was delicious and filling, with a good choice, and the shortbread is amazing. Great find in a lovely area, would definitely stay again. Thank you. No complaints.
