The owners were so thoughtful, they would set up breakfast for us every morning and were the sweetest people. Room was spectacular, and the location was perfect right next to the river which connects to the canal system. Great for walking No A/C :/ but the very reasonable price reflects that, and the fan did an excellent job of cooling us down at night.

We loved staying at Jon and Melanie's beautiful and characterful home. We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. Jon prepared the most delicious breakfast both mornings we were there - he was great company and a very helpful tour guide. Wished we could have stayed longer and would certainly stay again. The room was lovely with everything you needed, beautifully furnished with a lovely bathroom. The village was gorgeous and a great location to explore the stunning local countryside.

We liked everything!! the house is very nice and comfortable.

We stayed in the apartment which is at the top of a spiral staircase, the twin room is sectioned off with a curtain only, nice large terrace for sunbathing, star gazing and eating al fresco. Aircon decent, room has quite a few low beams on the ceilings. Hosts were great, very friendly, helpful and had good local recommendations. River swimming right on the doorstep along with a great shop right downstairs for fresh bread and croissants each morning.

John was a true gentleman, the house is gorgeous in quaint small French village. You can really take in the family friendly life. Perfect for me, the room was spacious and the best sleep I had on one of the twin single beds, The breakfast was amazing. If I was to return to the same area of France I would definitely stay here again. John recommended the restaurant literally opposite his house and the food did not disappoint. Great stay Nothing, I was I had more time to take in some of the area.

The property has been beautifully and sentively renovated and feels authentically French. We loved our ‘home from home’ for a week in this quite little village. It allowed us to travel easily by hire car to visit Beziers, Narbonne, Nimes and many other places. There is a lovely canal walk 100 metres from the property, and within 20 minutes you’ve walked to the Canal du Midi. The picturesque Le Somail, with it’s good range of restaurants is just 5 minutes drive away. We were given an outstanding welcome, and Jon in particular proved to be a superb travel guide! We made significant changes to some our plans because of him - visiting interesting places that do not appear in any travel guide. Breakfast was good, and the bed was very comfortable. Nothing to say

Beautifully designed and exquisitely executed it is the quintessential place to stay if you are in the Minervois area. Jon and Mel are the consummate hosts who have the experience and go the extra mile to make you feel at home. They make your South of France truly memorable. There was nothing not to like. Do yourself the favour and book

There was a tasty Continental breakfast each morning during a flexible time between 8-9am. This took place in the large dining area of the kitchen which is decorated in great style. Not applicable

We loved everything about our stay at La Souqueto! On arrival our Host was warm, friendly and welcoming. I was instantly impressed with the B&B. it’s a beautiful old house with modern comforts and beautifully decorated.. The bed and linens were comfortable, the Wifi worked perfectly and our breakfast was delicious (specifically the yoghurt+ Muesli). there is a Bistro around the corner (10 steps away) that makes delicious food!! I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this lovely B&B to all my friends and family and we will surely stay again on our next visit to France…Thank you! There was nothing not to like. beautiful B&B with a welcoming Host.
