Clean, comfortable, great fridge in room. Nice pool. Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation headquarters and hiking trails nearby Hottubs and waterfall in breakfast area definitely different!

We love the tables and chairs down by the hot tubs, as well as the pool itself. We also love the couches and chairs outside of the rooms upstairs. The location is prime as well, with food and coffee within walking distance,

Stayed here many times over last 6 years... everything was always great! This time the desk clerk was rude, requested an east side 2nd floor king our std room when we stay. First she refused our reservation as my husband was paying with his card she stated the reservation had to be changed to his name! No way this is how we have stayed at many hotels incl this one many many times. Then she sent us to a west side room .... came back down & asked for what we have always had an east side. So then she sends us to a room w/balcony next to mechanical room at end next to pool! No no no came back to desk and said enough is enough we cancelled everthing and left Never have we ever been treated so rudely and NO the hotel was not full and her customer service skills are in need of some training as she constantly stated she was just doing her job!!!! Well if I was the manager t would fire her or give her intense training on the hotel layout, and put her in a housekeeping position because as a front desk clerk she is very very confrontational! And lacks customer skills. We are senior citizens and raised all our children to be polite not a no it all teen who is rude. The other girl at desk keep her head down and did not want to be there as she was eating and surfing the web. Never stay again! We went to stone creek inn and was treated with respect !
