Edgewater Missoula, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

This is my favorite place to stay in Missoula. 40 years ago I stayed at the Edge Water at least one day a week. The property has been remodeled, expanded and updated. Still my favorite place to stay. I really like the Riverside rooms.

The hotel was great. Staff were also exceptional. My issue was with Expedia. I specifically chose the river room with a balcony and even paid more for it. When i checked in my expedia only showed king room, balcony. Nothing indicated it was a river view. My bad for not verifying the confirmation, but I specifically chose a river-view room in the room description, and it showed a river view in the room pics and unfortunately they were all booked by the time we checked in. Disappointing.

Great place

Loved the pool. Room was big bathroom was great. Staff didn’t give a ton of info and tried to go to the restaurant twice with no host ever helping us. Price seemed a little steep. Great location tho. Loved that we had a room that walked out to the pool. Awesome that it’s pet friendly even with our big dog.

My problem with this hotel was the parking charge of $20 per night. This for an open so-called lot with no security at all. When we left this morning I had to back out carefully because a homeless man was on the curb behind me.

Our room wasn’t ready at check in, and then had a strong cigarette smell when we opened the door. The lobby and pool area renovations nice, but the rooms just okay.

We booked a 3rd floor river view room and it did not disappoint. The view was incredible but the room was also incredible. Spacious, high end finishes and bedding. The decor was modern, chic and spot on for Montana. Although expensive, we felt the value was there. Would stay here again if we travel to Missoula in the future.

Room was loud by the pool with people playing music past 10 pm. You could also hear everything from in the hallway. Best part of the stay was the restaurant but you might want to make reservations or just order room service. Overall for the price of the room it was not worth it at all.

Great property, lovely view from the well appointed balcony. Excellent dinner in the restaurant. Free icecream while we waited for our room as we were early for checkin.

Great Jacuzzi

The night before a marathon is when you need a clean, comfortable place to rest, and there was no way I could relax in those conditions. We ended up paying another $700 for the only available room in town just to get out of there. This experience was completely unacceptable. The owner should be embarrassed to charge those rates for a room in that condition.

Wonderful location by the water. Loved our patio overlooking Clark's Fork river! Comfortable beds and linens. Wonderful spot for a restaurant. Enjoyed breakfast and happy it was open so late in the evening! Still too pricey for the average tourist. Pool area was wonderful, but wished that it opened earlier than 10am.

Excellent location, very dog friendly A little pricey

I was charged $20 for Im assuming 2 bottled waters. I never received a full print out of the receipt that showed what the $20 fee was for. Paid over $400 for 1 night stay. Room was ok but not $400 worthy.

It was very much under construction when I stayed in early May. I have high hopes for improvement the next time. Rooms are pretty sparse, with not a lot of amenities. Access to elevators is limited if staying upstairs. Large complex, very nice creekside dining area. The hotel felt like it missed an opportunity to truly be a high end type of hotel, opting for a faux appearance motel feel rather than a truly high end finished hotel. Price point is a little higher for the experience. It’s very close to campus and very close to the football tailgating area. Location is an A+++.

The restaurant was the biggest disappointment of the stay. Cold food and slow service at their price point is sad experience. Landscaping on the river's side is completely overgrown. Don't waste your money on the view.
