Garner Hotel Missoula Southwest by IHG

A great place to stay - clean, pet friendly and a welcoming staff. Convenient to dining and grocery shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I’d say this hotel was mediocre. Seems they needed more staff, perhaps. With all the other options in Missoula, I probably would not stay here again. But at least it was in a cool location with lots of food and shopping nearby.

The staff was stellar and kind. Helpful and the cookies were delicious There was a street light directly out the windows that lit up the whole room all night. Particularly, even with the curtain closed and I tried to rig it and push it as close to the windows as I could with no success in blocking the light. Due to where the bed is, imthe stadium light shines directly in your eyes unless you sleep on your left side. Wrap around black out curtains would be helpful. Along with a way to turn off the light switch night light. We used a pillow to block the gap under the door.

Shower had black mold. No coffee pot in room

Room was updated and clean the wifi could be improved a bit but the tv and cable worked well

The bathroom door was older and painted.. it wouldn't stay latched... Our tissue box had only 3 tissues in it... and no spare box, the note pad was empty except for the note the housekeeper wrote on it.. she used the last piece of paper....

We ended up not staying here because the property gave away our room. We needed a room with 2 queen beds and we were given just 1 bed for 4 people. We ended up leaving. Hoping to get a full refund.

IHG has some work to do to get this place they purchased to be up to IHG standards. 1” gap under the door, no soundproof windows, no soft-close door hinges, very loose toilet seat, somebody else’s dirty towel left hanging behind the bathroom door, not a great breakfast…I’m on the road for 200 days a year for work and these are the little things that matter to me. I probably won’t be back.

Very clean 1 queen bed is the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in. Plus it’s on the First floor and the window was at ground level. Check in was at 3, our room was not ready until 3:45. My brother originally booked there so we had to stay at this hotel. The prices for the room were jacked up to over double because of a concert in town.

Nice place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Overall great hotel. The staff were supurb with special mention of Mia who was so responsive to queations and requests. We could tell she was hustling! Some of the fixtures and soap dispensers could use some tightening. Breakfast was great and 24/7 Costa coffee machine a plus. Game room with pool table was great for kids.
