Alphotel Mittersill

We had a really good stay at this hotel during our skiing trip in Austria, as a family with two small kids and a dog. The owners are a young couple who are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which immediately made us feel at home. There’s a warm, family-like atmosphere that really sets this place apart. The rooms are simple, clean and warm. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. We would happily stay here again.

Good quite location. Very friendly and helpful owners. Decent value for money. Well maintained building. Plenty of parking around. The bed can use some new pillows and the mattress is not far behind. Insect screens on the windows and balcony door can help a lot with the mosquitos at night while keeping room ventilated. If insect screens are not possible, maybe fans to help stay cool while closing the windows at night. I asked for a fan but they did not keep any on hand.

Family hotel with extremely friendly staff. Large and clean rooms with great views of the mountains. Plenty of parking available. The Sommercard included in the rate is a big bonus with significant discounts to explore the region. Although it was not a problem to my group, be aware that there is no elevator in the property.

The location near the center. The owners are very nice and help us to plan the days. The room is very big and the balcony has a beautiful view. Water pressure in the bathroom.

Really friendly welcoming family run hotel. Great Alps chalet feel. Good hearty simply breakfast, plenty to fill up on for a day's skiiing. And easy access to a ski bus to take you to the slopes. Definitely recommend and if the opportunity arises, will definitely stay with them again.

Very good

The apartment is vast and clean. There is a well-furnished kitchen. The hosts are polite and sold us KitzSki cards (The price is the same as it is if you buy them online). The center is about ten minutes walk from the apartment and there are a supermarket, some restaurants and other interesting shops. For the cable cars users who want to go up in the mountain there is an enormous FREE parking within five minutes car ride. There are plenty of ski slopes most of which are pretty wide. I highly recommend this place. I would definitely like to visit it again.
