Villa Enea Monopoli

Breakfast was excellent. Location was further from the Centro than what we expected. Driving to the unit at night was difficult due to lack of lighting on the roadway. Didn’t like having to park on the road.It was a bit narrow

The location was really good for visiting nearby villages/towns like Monopoli, Alberobello, Polignano a Mare etc. The room is also nice and big. Breakfast was too early (until 9.30 am), which meant that we have to wake up earlier than usual on vacation. The bathroom was too small and there was nowhere to hang the towels. Towel change and room cleaning were also subject to an extra charge (€6 and €20 respectively), which is unusual.

Attentive host and excellent breakfast. Very peaceful with several areas to sit outside. Excellent value. Too far from shops or restaurants to walk. Parking was at the side of a narrow road. Luigi spoke limited English but tried his best. The steps into the swimming pool are not very safe

The location was perfect. In a quite area 10min from Monopoli. The hosts Cristian and Luigi were very kind, welcoming and offered great breakfast in the morning. The BnB was clean and comfortable. If I visit Puglia again we will definitely be staying here again. Nothing. Everything was perfect

This place exceeded our expectations! Communication with Cristian and Luigi prior to check-in and throughout our stay was very easy. We only met Luigi in person, but he was so welcoming and happy to help us with anything we needed. The room is fairly spacious, however the bathroom is on the smaller size (coming from a Canadian, Europe in general just has smaller bathrooms). The room had a mini fridge for us to store a few snacks/drinks in. We found the bed to be comfortable. The location is situated perfectly to be able to explore the surrounding towns from any direction. Breakfast was between 8:30-9:30am and had a variety of options to choose from. The pool was SO nice after a hot day walking around town, or after visiting a crowded beach. The back yard is so serene and relaxing, we absolutely loved it. The value of this place is incredible and I highly recommend it! The only suggestion I have is to maybe put some hooks in the bathroom or somewhere in the room to hang your towels on :)

Luigi and Christian are extremely kind and helpful hosts. They helped us a lot in everything. This is a place where you will find peace and close to the city. The rooms are clean and large. I would like to come to this beautiful place as soon as possible. Nothing

The hosts Luigi and Christian were incredibly kind, hospitable and accommodating. They made our stay so beautiful. We didn’t rent a car and they offered to take us into Monopoli town. They gave us lots of recommendations. The Villa is beautiful, it was clean, cool, and big. The breakfast was delicious each mornings. We loved Villa Enea and would highly recommend. Nothing. I would suggest getting a car or a scooter as it is about a 12 min drive into town.

Beautiful Villa set in the countryside. The breakfast and the amazing hosts made this one of our best stays in Italy.

Our stay was very good. The owners are very kind and friendly. Breakfast was the best among the other places we stayed in Italy. The room was really clean and we had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was good, there was nothing to complain.

We had a very disappointing experience on our last days of our Puglia tour during our stay in this property. The villa is overall a nice building, but the hosts made us feel unwelcome. At our first day they might welcome us and let us leave our luggage earlier but the day after we received a very bad full of anger message when we skipped the breakfast because we were sleeping! It was the first time that we stayed in a room and the host sent us a message like this because we couldn’t eat breakfast. If it was that important he would offered us the breakfast in the room, didn’t need to waist it as he said. He also made us feel unwelcome about the next day breakfast. So we started our day of exploration with a stressed and bad way and decided not to discuss it further, to go on and explore the near towns. When we enter the car and started our way, we had a used bottle of water to trash so we stopped at a trash can on the road near the villa in order to throw it. Then out of sudden the one host was coming with his Jeep, stoped in the middle of the road and started to yell at us at Italian! And he knew we don’t speak the language so we couldn’t understand what he was saying and yelling at us! We repeatedly told him to explain in English but he never did, only yelling at us at Italian. As I understand he didn’t want to throw the bottle on this trash can so he made us a scene…. After this incident he didn’t talk to us again, and when it was the time of check out he was just hiding outside in the garden staring at us until we leave. I’m sorry that we chose this stay for our last days in Puglia because generally the area is amazing, but it is a pity the hosts in the villa that you pay to stay to make you feel like this. I hope people work on their issues and understand that when they have someone leaving in their property to make him feel welcome. Also we choose this stay in order to have parking for our car and be close to Polignano a mare.

After having my wallet and passport stolen in Ravenna, Luigi and Cristiano’s stroke of humanity was just what we needed for our time in Puglia. They are incredible hosts and go that extra mile for their guests to ensure you are comfortable and enjoy your stay. Breaky was delicious, inclusive of a cappuccino made by Cristiano every morning. Room was very comfortable and clean. Definitely need a hire car if you are staying here as it’s 10mins from Monopoli in a rural area. Thanks again guys, don’t hesitate to book here!! Such a highlight ☺️

Wonderful respite. Ancient olives all around and real quiet--but close to the best sights in the region. Luigi and Christian are very gracious hosts; Christian's breakfasts are memorable, and his great passion for what he does is clear. A restorative stay.

We had a great holiday! Luigi and Cristian go out of their way to make the stay just even more special - they did not open their house to us but also their hearts! The rooms are a great size, the beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms have everything you need in them. The breakfast is just outstanding and they fulfilled every wish before we could even say it out loud. We will definitely stay with them again when we go down south for a holiday again! We can 100 % recommend to book a couple of nights at their house!
