loved the location and the staff were super friendly, helpful and welcoming. We wished there were more food options after all the restaurants closed at 10. Yes the sports bar stayed open 24 hours and had some snack options, we felt that the food was filling. Also the Italian restaurant was a waste of time and by far was the worst food we had on the resort.

Food wasn’t the best tasting
-
Location is great the entertainment staff as excellent and house keeping and front desk very responsive The property does not offer any food after 1030 just snacks. Doesn’t add up to a nightlife club that you can drink 24/7 but not eat. Also alot of teenagers which made options for older adults limited

The pools close way too early. We couldn’t wind down & relax after our excursions like we wanted to. There were ants in our room.

Everything No elevator and i was on the 3rd floor

Swim up bar The food needs a little more work

The activities were all entertaining. The pools were clean. The staff was not friendly. Most of them had bad attitudes and appeared annoyed if guest asked questions, especially in Rose Hall.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at RIU and our experience was amazing! We enjoyed the activities/entertainment. The swim up bar was the best pool area in our opinion! However there were several pool options to choose from. The property also sits on a beautiful beach. The property is maintained well with a nice variety of dining facilities and bars. We ate at the Sofia, the steakhouse as well as the Kuhalarium (seafood restaurant, I believe this is the name!) and enjoyed each! We had no problem booking a reservation even with it being a BUSY holiday weekend! All of the staff we encountered were both friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff were especially efficient, keeping our room clean and bar stocked. We will definitely seek to experience other RIU facilities in upcoming travel ventures! Nothing not to like besides a weird, disgruntled lifeguard!

The food no plantains. Reservation kept being booked for restaurants. The pools too small. The rain!!!!

They have plenty of delicious food, entertainment, and the atmosphere was very pleasant Well, there’s nothing I can really say that I didn’t like about the place. It was great to me.
-
Everything was perfect Pool opens too late and close too early

The staff was very friendly, the grounds were kept up well. This establishment states Adults only, however, it’s over saturated with 21 and younger, that don’t know how to handle their liquor. The beds are very hard, the room decor is very old. The food is not the best. With all these things wrong, the price to stay was way too high.

The staff was really nice, we got plenty of laughs. There was plenty of food options and drinks. The staff remembered us each day and it felt really welcoming. Didn't like the fact that additional fans were not available. The air didn't get cool enough at night cause be not to sleep well. Also, the credits you get from booking aren't really great because you can't use them.

Hotel Property: It is gorgeous! Very clean. Very hospitable. The fact that you walk outside and the beautiful beach and ocean is right there was amazing. 10/10. The staff is really nice. Always asked if there was anything they can help with throughout the hotel. Horace in the dining area. Amanda at the pool bar. Our booking.com host that helped check us in! Ask for her! Everyone was nice. Excursions: We actually received a call to our room from Sheila asking us did we want to review Excursions since we booked through booking.com. she was so nice and everything was catered to what we wanted. It didnt feel like a sales pitch or anything. She maintained poc for any questions, concerns and followed up with us when she saw us to ask how things went. We went with Chukka Sandy Bay 10/10 Bars: FANTASTIC 10/10 Food: its buffet style and hours of service are important. The Sports Bar saved us a few times with the patties, nachos, sandwiches, hot dogs and they're open 24/7. Room: comes with 4 choices of alcohol provided and refilled every 2 days. Stocked fridge of waters, pop, beer etc that is a part of the all inclusive. The best part of my room was the incredible view of the ocean! What a view! We faced the other riu property which was fun to people watch and relax. Room: The room itself left plenty to be desired and I'm only referencing the bed and the need for me to call an exterminator. I was there for my birthday and it was my first time in Jamaica so a little extra hospitality would have been nice especially since I added the note to my booking. We found a small gecko in our room and a couple of days after that a much larger bug came out of the closet on to my bed. Windows are open throughout the hallways and it's a resort so some things are to expected but the bug was too much. The sheets weren't the cleanest despite asking for new linen change and the room to be cleaned. I had an allergic reaction to the blanket that was on my bed so there were some things left to be desired. Also I noticed that a keepsake I had on my bed was no longer there after I asked for new sheets. Probably rolled into the sheets and blankets when service was being completed. Food: its an all inclusive with plenty of restaurant choices but you have to make a reservation first and 48 hours ahead of time through the RIU app. Ask to be shown how to use the app and where to see your reservations. If you do the buffet a little salt and pepper goes a long way bc the seasoning was lacking.

Beautiful place. Amazing staff. Very clean rooms, pools, beach, restrooms. The food was good had a little bit of everything. They have like four other restaurants, which were also great, within the facility apart from the main buffet. Entertainment was fun. Had a great experience and will definitely go back ! I don’t have any complain.
