This was a beautifully decorated boutique hotel, the rooms were very accommodating, and the AC during the heatwave was greatly appreciated. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. It seems as though Montepulciano has hills in both directions walking up and walking back. The local shuttle saved us greatly. But well worth the effort.

Warm, welcoming staff. Great location, just outside old Montepulciano. The building, garden and rooms are beautiful. Loved hearing so many birds. Enjoyed eating breakfast in the garden. The tennis facility nearby has an engine running all night.

. We liked everything about the property. It was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious but the hospitality extended by Vanna, Laura and Niccolo exceeded every previous experience. We would highly recommend this lovely boutique hotel.

We loved the relaxing experience at Il Rondo, walking in the gorgeous garden, listening to the birds, and resting on the balcony and in the lovely sitting room. The breakfast was delicious and such a wonderful and unique start to our days. The hotel and property are stunning and definitely a great value. We would have loved a tour of the garden to learn the names of all the plants and trees!

Beautiful guest house with excellent attention to details. The staff was very accomocating and friendly. The free breakfast was an added bonus and the views were incrdible! Exactly what you would want in a quaint Tuscan getway. Everything was great!

Everything was perfect. Just as we arrived we could already smell the delicious cake Laura was baking for next morning’s breakfast. The hotel staff is super attentive and friendly. There is a beautiful garden outside. Montepulciano’s historical center is around 10-15 minute walk uphill, but manageable. You can also decide to drive there if you have a car and leave the car on a metered parking spot. We stayed for two nights and loved the experience. Everything was perfect.

The people were wonderful, and welcoming. The property and room were exceptional. The area was peaceful and the grounds beautiful. We really liked Gino! Nothing.

I liked that the property was outside the city. The walk up to the city was about 20 minutes. I’m 75 and it was fine. It would be difficult if you had mobility issues. The bus station is minutes away. The room was exceptionally clean. Thank you, Doria. Laura was a standout as a host. The breakfast was delicious. I stayed for over two weeks (went to Il Sasso Language School) and would happily stay again.

Great hotel, very unique and fun to stay at! The family that runs this hotel (which really has more of a bed and breakfast feel to it) is so lovely!! We were the only guests there and they put out the most incredible breakfast spread for just us and were so attentive. Additionally, the parking is right outside and nice to not have to drag our luggage around, especially in the large steep hills of Montepulciano.

The family owned small hotel is perfect for a few day stay In Montepulciano Italy. There could not be a nicer group of guests or a more comfortable family atmosphere. Definitely a 10. Not a thing

Excellent staff, good breakfast, nice garden with quiet location and parking on site. Also a friendly cat named Gino. Bathroom shower was fairly tight, but plenty of hot water.
