The hotel and restaurant Heliotel is located on the northern outskirts of Montpellier, 25 minutes away from the sea and right at the gateway of the well-known Cévennes. It features a swimming pool. Free Wi-Fi access, satellite TV and a telephone are included in the guest rooms and the self-catering studios. A buffet breakfast is served every morning at the Heliotel. Private parking is free on site and Montpellier City Center is a 10-minute drive away. Our restaurant is open from Monday to Friday, for both lunch and dinner

We got a little appartment - small but convenient and practical for one night. We didn't go to the pool - too tired! - or the restaurant. Good wifi. The decoration could have been a bit better.

Friendly staff. Good value hotel for a budget stay. Will be good for access once new tramway opens. Rather basic room and facilities. Could have been cleaner. Towels not changed even if left in designated places.

If you cannot speak French and arrive to the hotel after 11 pm please consider your decision about staying this hotel. I have a terrible experince and an anxiety attack when i arrived to the hotel at 24:00. There was no light, no body, all doors closed and no clue about what is my room number and how i find the key. When i complaint, the owners hoefully express their sadness and they are going to improve their reception services. I hope they will do it soon and nobody will feel unsafe and anxious at dark like me. It is really difficult to find the entrance of this hotel at dark.

The location is quite good. Not too far from the city, motorway or beaches. Plenty of parking spaces. The rooms are decent, although not soundproof. Breakfast is quite basic. The pool is too small for swimming. Although big enough for kids or lounging.
