The employee left sweet birthday notes for my daughter in both rooms. Our rooms were no where near each other. My daughter lost a key and they charged us $49 Euro! A little excessive. They told us if we found it to mail it back and they would refund our money. We found it the next day and mailed it back. That was over a month ago and they still have not refunded us the $49 euro!!!! Also, I left a whole flat of important and expensive medication behind. Instead of forwarding it to us or even telling us, they just threw it away and didn't tell us until we asked. The location is odd. The is literally an old church, another hotel and a few homes. Really odd.

Was surprised to find such a nice hotel in that small village, Few rooms but mine was nicely set, well renovated with a huge bathroom, clean and confortable, quiet even with windows on the road. The great plus is that you are above the 1 star Michelin restaurant so you are sure to spend a great evening. Also near to Chambord, so great location for the Loire valley chateaux. Great value considering the reasonable price of the room. Everything was perfect

Large modern rooms, very comfortable and view of the church across the road. Amazing dinner. Excellent breakfast for 12 Euros! Should offer half board or dinner. The main reason we stayed was to have dinner there! The best meal we had in France despite comparing to 4-5 other Michelin star-rated places! We even came back to pick up something we forgot and stayed for lunch too. All the staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. Great location for visiting Chambord. Would recommend it to family and friends! Would have received 10/10 except the stairs to the rooms could be dangerous for the elderly or someone with physical impairment. Maybe tough if you have large luggage. The bathroom can be cleaner as water stains on the tile are visible. The very modern bathroom fixtures could be easier to use. Overall an excellent place to stay!

Excellent location. Beds very comfortable.

lovely big room and comfortable bed. excellent toiletries and towels. air conditioning was a blessing in August. There isn’t a shower, only a bath, with a hand held shower, that takes an age to fill. The room lighting was inadequate, I had to take a torch to see the controls on the coffee maker. The taps in the bathroom are a triumph of design over practicality, I’ve never come across anything so comically useless. all interior designers should be sentenced to live in their creations. The restaurant only offers expensive gourmet multi course dinners, with no a la carte option. There are no glasses in the room, just disposable cardboard cups, and only tiny demitasse mugs.
