Clean and comfortable room. A Carrefour next to the hotel which is very convenient if you want to cook.

Place was nice, relatively quiet, in a residential area. Small convenience store is right next to the entrance, and bigger supermarket Lidl is 7 min walking distance away. Room was pretty basic, but the bed was big. Internet worked well. Blinds were good too, blocked morning sun completely. Kitchenette in the room had a kettle, Nespresso-style coffee machine, a couple of pots and pans, basic cutlery, glasses and cups. Staff at the reception desk was helpful. You can walk to the city center in 15 min, and about 20 min to the train station Gare St Roch (or you can take a tram, there is plenty and they ride from the early morning hours. There is a nice river nearby (5-7 min walk) with a park. Knives were very blunt. Bed was not super-uncomfortable, but a thin mattress topper would be helpful. There was only one socket at the base of the bed, which can be not so convenient if you are two people and want to charge your phones overnight next to bed. Water from the tap is safe, but smells like chlorine, so we bought drinking water at the supermarket. After the second night I woke up with what looked like insect bites. It could have been mosquitos of course, because the weather was warm and sunny, but it made me nervous knowing that France has a problem with bed bugs (though we did not notice any in the room).

I stayed at Aparthotel Adagio for three weeks and it was exceptional. The rooms were modern, clean, included weekly housecleaning, laundry facilities, free wi-fi and optional breakfast. Most importantly, the 24-hour concierge staff were welcoming and beyond helpful. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the main train station - Gare St. Roch, and 10-15 minutes from the central square - Place de la Comedie. A Carrefour grocery store is located next door, and a larger grocery store one block away. In every respect, Aparthotel Adagio was excellent. A special thank you to all the staff!

The room was great with a large & comfortable bed. Having Air Conditioning was great especially during a heat wave. All of the staff I met were very friendly. I liked the fact you could check your bags and that there was a lounge area. Carrefour Express is on the same block for any quick food or beverage needs. Walking to the tram in very hot weather sometimes was too much.

Exceptional

The room was clean and well equipped with everything you need, location is nice The hotel charged my card with the deposit which was the full among of booking - 350 euro, and when i arrived insisted that i should pay for the room the full amount again. And they would return deposit only after your check out! In terms of budgeting the trip i was not ready to that and was very surprised that the deposit is so big! I received it only 15 days after i checked out. So be aware, they say it happens with all the bookings via Booking

There is access control and monitoring at the door, and it feels safe. It's dirty and noisy. When I first arrived at the room, I found feces in the toilet. When I woke up in the morning, I found that there was a large area of dried blood on the mattress near my pillow. I can hear the voice of my neighbor from the room.

Everything was as it should be. Not far from a tram stop, close to a good fruit and veg shop. Well enough equipped for cooking a simple meal. Clean. Comfy bed. Quiet. Staff pleasant and helpful. Good price. Will stay again.
