    Nice stay

Beautiful property - yes it got cool at night and our baseboard heater was off yet kept kicking on. I had to keep the door open all night and pull the fan as close to the open door as possible to pull in cooler air. Original windows which are charming, but they’re sticky and don’t easily open. Ceiling fan on high rattled horribly. Coffee maker in room didn’t work-was able to get swapped out. Room wasn’t super clean - definitely could have used extra care on back of bathroom door, wallpapered bathroom walls, and around the bathrooms sink and toilet. Would be nice if the sidewalks/entry to rooms were kept a little more free of debris as it was all tracked into room by my family. Food service was good in diner. heron Grill was slow. Prices are REALLY high - like $16 for a margarita in a high ball glass. Every meal was $120 plus tip for my husband, self, and two kids ages 6&7. Appreciated the clean food options that were available. Pool opens a little late -10a and was closed the last day we were there due to a chemical imbalance.

We only stayed one night. However it was a great stay. Real nice room though it didn’t have television. Restaurants were very good..

Sadly lodging options within the park are limited so you’ll be paying a huge premium for the location. For $600 a night one could expect something better than a smelly, cold and run down room.

Great stay. Good location and access to all you need right at the lodge.

Beautiful view, very helpful front desk staff - gave us tips on where to watch sunrise. The activities desk suggested various hikes for us when we had a few hours to kill. The coffee cart staff was incredibly friendly and personable each morning, and you get free refills if you buy coffee there! But the view, and the lobby, that is what makes this place so special. We loved sitting outside in the morning taking in the view and hanging out at sunset doing the same. We loved hanging in the lobby after dark playing cards or just relaxing. It was quick to get to Colter Bay and Oxbow Bend, a little bit of a ride to Jenny Lake/String Lake area but not bad. The food options were good as well, we ate at the Blue Heron and Pioneer Grill - both great! Loved the atmosphere of the outdoor patio at Blue Heron and the inside of Pioneer Grill - 50s feel and music - so fun. Did not get into the Mural Room though. There were many paths right on the property to various scenic views. Also, we did horseback riding right there and there were other activities to book right through the lodge also. We highly recommend this place and would definitely return. Loved it so much!!

You need to understand ahead of time, that this is not a Ritz Carlton type property. We stayed in one of their cottages. You get your basic amenities. Our cottage had two queen, beds, a sink outside of the bathroom and inside the bathroom was a sink and a tub/shower combo. I woke up in the middle of the night with something crawling on my neck. I grabbed it and threw it. The next morning, I found an earwig laying on my bed. Also, that morning I was standing in the room and felt something crawling up my leg. It was a big ant carrying something. So, you need to understand that you are in the forest, staying in cottages and therefore expect that there might be a few visitors. The scenery is beautiful. You are a bit of a drive outside of Jackson. But, you are at the Gateway of Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park.

The location and the views were fantastic. The private rooms were great and a good size. Parking in front of the rooms was convenient. We did have some ants in the room, but for a rural setting it probably couldn't be helped. The pool was nice for a relaxing day and breakfast was really good.

I like the gift shop. Their clothes are beautiful! Also the staff are all super nice!

They charge premium for the location; the main lobby is grand; but the cabin we slept is tiny; and the shower water flow is very weak; the bedding is low quality. But the view from the main lobby is great.

The place has a beautiful location in the heart of grand Teton. The views out back will leave you breathless. The staff is courteous but no one is going out of their way to make your stay great (as they would in a commercial property). The rooms are basic but have everything you need including comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. There is a sense of slight disrepair like wobly knobs and broken toilet seats. For the price you pay, you expect better. The food options are plentiful but none of them offer great food. It’s all just good enough. We even tried the mural room and that had ok food. Location is convenient, coffee cart is great. Compared to the other places in grand Teton, this is still probably the best place to stay in terms of what you get and what you pay for. The other places didn’t look much better.

Our stay in cabins was in August. We were concerned about the heat should we need to come back to the cabin midday. However, the fans worked well and we were comfortable at night and during the day. The staff was very helpful and check-in was a breeze. The grab and go breakfast helped when we needed to get going early. Sitting on the porch in the quiet mornings with a fresh brewed cup of their coffee, watching birds, squirrels and small ground hogs was a treat. Would stay again.

We ate at a delicious lunch at the Mural Room and frequented the Pioneer Grill, which was a great affordable takeout option for meals. The rooms and beds were comfortable; I was slightly concerned that there was no AC but even on one of the hottest days with the ceiling fan and curtains drawn we were cool and comfortable.
