Hostel Mosura no Tamago

Since you probably have a car to be here, GO TO GORILLA CHOP- fantastic snorkeling a 5min drive away all day. Next door is snorkle/wetsuit rental guy so that’s convenient. The kitchen is nice too. The showers good. Other side of island nice sunset beach We didn’t go see north of island but u can from here Beds were really bad. Hostels in Japan can be very quiet.

Mosura is a lovely hostel on Sesoko Island. They are so friendly and it is a great base to explain the area. Plus the free parking is a nice offering.

It has a fully equipped kitchen with all kinds of sauces and cooking oil. The washer is free of charge and you can just dry them outside. If you drive a car, this place is a perfect location. Anchi beach is within 10 minutes of walk, aquarium takes 15mins of driving, and you can drive a car onto the ferry to Iejima which takes 30mins of ferry. It’s a perfect place for those who drives and want to chill out but also want to explore Northern Okinawa well. The soundproof is poor so if you’re sensitive to noise, better get yourself some earplugs.

A very smart simple guest house on Sesoko Island. Everything is clean, the room is simple but comfortable. The Izakaya not far away (3’ walk) was very delicious and friendly. Not the property’s fault, but some other guests were just making too much noise early in the morning

The hostess’ welcome was warm and frank. Yuko was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The premises are new and spotlessly clean. It would be difficult togind anything better at this level.Breakfast was very simple but appreciated. For foreigners it is nice tgat everything is explained in English. You can buy easy foods and drink at the hostel, too. All good.

Very good value if you are looking for accommodation in this area. It is very close to the beach and is close to restaurants nearby. I like the facilities offered as well as the cleanliness of the accommodation. Bikes are available for rent, which I thought was great as it helped me to get around the island. Finally, Yuki is a great host and provided an enjoyable stay. If im in Okinawa again, I will definitely be back ! ? Nothing.

たまたま空室が一部屋あり、その部屋へ早急に移動して対応下さいました。 嬉しかったです。 今回は与論島へ行くために前泊しましたが、 次回は目的地のひとつとして利用したいです。

I liked the room and the owner was super friendly even if we could only communicate with hand and feet :) . Everything was clean and i liked the community room No real hostel feeling and the location is far away from open restaurant (off season ) and supermarket so good planning or car/ bike is a must !
