The house is pretty old, it rains a lot so there's a damp smell sometimes.

The con: It's great that there is a kitchen, but I think most guests don't do more than boil water for instant ramen. I, however, was excited to cook and thought that a deep clean of the kitchen is warrented. The area for the pots and pans is a bit grimy. I know that there was a typhoon that had an impact on the guesthouse, so maybe that's why there is so much stuff cluttering up the table area as it was displaced from its normal storage? I'm not sure, but the piles are dusty and make the space less inviting. I was itchy for boxes to get that stuff out of there & open the space up more!

The facilities were amazing for a guest house and the host Niku-san was very warm and made sure we were comfortable during our stay.

It’s a clean and cozy wooden guest house with a unique okinawian vibe. The owner is very kind and we, as a group of 3 girls, felt safe. There’re many cute little things all around the house so it was nice to notice one of them every time. We wanted to find a cheap place near Churaumi Aquarium and it was a perfect choice. Beds were comfortable and we had a good sleep. Location is a bit in the woods so it’s recommended to not go far away at night.

The staff was really nice and helped us with informations for our next days. It was a good location for the fireworks. Having only one bathroom and shower for many people was a bit uncomfortable.

The only thing I didn’t like was the bed. It was super hard, I had a hard time sleeping. Maybe the mattress could be a bit thicker… Apart from that, I would definitely recommend staying here :)

Very kind and helpful owner. He gave me a ride to the nearby mountain (Motobu Fujisan), and I'm still very grateful for thar. I added a picture of the mountain as "outside" Great assortment of snacks, food, and drinks, which is great if you forgot to bring some. Cozy room with a good fan. Walkable distance to the nearby Aquapark/Aquarium. An AC would have kept me a bit less sweaty.

The host, Niku-san is really great. He is super friendly and kind, which made my stay really incredible! I wish there was a drying machine. My clothes were very damp and it was difficult to get them dry.

The Guest House is owned by a realy nice guy. It is located close to the Oceanic Expo, a beautiful public place with museums, aquariums, restaurants and a wonderful beach. The house is a bit away from the main street. Which means you have to walk a bit. However, the express bus going directly to the airport of Naha has a stop just ten minutes away from the guesthouse.

It’s located in the countryside through some trees. There’re signposts where to go to find this place and you can be also led by Google Maps but the route can be dangerous during the night so please go to stay at this place before dark.
