The character of the Villa is extraordinary. The vision of the property owner gives the impression of staying in idyllic Provance style among the art and fantastic food.

The location is good - not too far from Cannes and cute nearby villages. The owner and staff were mostly kind when I brought up the many issues I had with the accommodation. Unfortunately, this is not an accommodation that I can recommend. I spent more than 350EUR per night, but would not return and stay here even if it were free. There were so many things wrong from the start - when we first arrived at the room, we noticed multiple spiders and webs along the entrance and the bedroom. There were some pieces of old food on the floor next to the bed at arrival. WIFI did not work in the room. There is an old toilet in the room which sprays water all over the toilet seat, the wall, and floor when flushed. Towels and bedsheets both contained holes. While advertising air conditioning for the room, it turns out the the AC does not actually cool down the room at all. The bathtub doesn't have a curtain, so the floors and walls get soaking wet when attempting to wash hair, etc. There is an old gross rug in front of the bathtub that clearly gets wet everyday from the bathtub but is never cleaned (very icky to step out of the bathtub to a dirty old rug that isn't cleaned between guests). We booked the room based on the fact that it included a hot tub, just to be told upon our entrance that the jacuzzi was broken and not usable. After speaking with the owner the following day, he mentioned that the jacuzzi was not actually private despite my booking being clear that it was. He also mentioned that only one of the jets in the jacuzzi was broken and it was usable. Upon my partner and I using the jacuzzi, we turned on the jets and water exploded into the air and everywhere - wetting our hair, phones, towels, shoes, books that were left just outside the hot tub. The jacuzzi was also extremely dirty - lots of dirt and sand through the bottom of it. The bed was like a rock - highly uncomfortable. Upon requesting a different room after our first night, we were told it would only be possible if we paid for an upgrade.

The hotel and it's garden are very beautiful and charming. Nevertheless we selected the structure not only for its beauty but also for the SPA, only on our arrival we were informed that the SPA was closed and no massage possible. They offered to turn the Sauna on for the next morning and we booked the slot for 10am, on our arrival nothing was prepared. Services are not up to the standard of the price.

Breakfast was a major disappointment (see photos). Consisted of a very small offering of diced fruit, apples in various stages of ripeness and overripeness. Believe it or not, even the tea was poor on 2 of 3 days - water not hot enough, tea pot leaked. Highly overrated – consider other options before booking. Here’s what didn’t work: •Breakfast not included – an additional expense that adds up quickly. •Pool unusable – the water is green and looks unclean. •Lack of basic toiletries – conditioner, body lotion, and other essentials aren’t provided. The shampoo comes in a glass bottle, which seems dangerous in a slippery shower. Towels are extremely thin and don't dry. •Leaky shower - water went all over the floor and hard to control. •Safe not provided in a timely manner – had to wait over 24 hours to receive one. •Poor air conditioning coverage – AC is only available in the rooms. Common areas have open windows and doors, leading to a buildup of biting bugs. •Low-quality amenities – pillows and towels are of poor quality, making for an uncomfortable stay. •Leaky shower – added to the inconvenience of an already disappointing bathroom setup. •Poor lighting in exterior of property. •Security – no one from the property stays overnight – a number is left on front desk to call in case of emergencies. •Décor – needs a spruce up, especially in the dining area and outdoor areas. Here are some pros: •Friendly staff – SOME of the employees are warm, helpful, and offer great restaurant recommendations. •Beautiful surroundings – the property itself is quite pretty though overgrown. While the owner is polite and seems committed to running a green, eco-friendly hotel, it feels more like a cost-cutting approach than a genuinely sustainable effort.

**Review of Les Rosees Hotel** Les Rosees Hotel is undeniably beautiful, with a stunning exterior and a relaxing pool area that invites guests to unwind. The room we stayed in was equally charming and comfortable, offering a pleasant retreat. However, our experience with breakfast left much to be desired. Breakfast is charged separately, and we found it to be lacking in value for money. The young lady serving breakfast was incredibly slow, which became frustrating. Despite there being only one other couple besides us, the table was practically devoid of food. When we asked her to replenish it, she brought out a small plate with just a few slices of mortadella, salami, and cheese. The other gentleman took half out of politeness, and my husband finished the rest, as the portion was insufficient even for one person. When my husband inquired why she didn't bring more food initially, she mentioned having another plate ready, but it took a while to arrive because she was busy making eggs for the other couple. The juice pitchers were also empty, and it took a significant amount of time to refill them. It took approximately 35 minutes from the start of our breakfast to finally receive an omelette. If there had been more tables, breakfast could easily have stretched over two hours. Another issue we encountered was with the air conditioning in the Gipsy Room. The installed unit wasn't adequate, so the owner had added a portable air conditioner, which was very loud. The exhaust was vented through the bathroom window, allowing mosquitoes to enter the room due to the lush greenery surrounding the hotel. Overall, given the hotel's reviews and reputation, we expected more. While the setting and accommodations are lovely, the service and amenities, particularly at breakfast, need improvement.

the staff are very welcoming and very nice, gave us the a very worn service. The place is run by a magnificent family and you can feel how much they care about the hotel and it’s guests. the place especially the gardens are beautiful , very clean and quite. the perfect place for a relaxing time. The food is homemade and very tasty. The beds are less comfortable than I’m used too. the bath has no cottons to block the water going all over the floor air conditioner was in the second room and not in the sleeping area. if the room is located next to the reception the talking in the morning might disturb you.
