We had a comfortable stay while we were in Pittsburgh to drop off our kid who is starting college. Initially, I panicked when the AC didn't work, but it kicked in after 5 minutes. The water dispenser is in the gym room which is bit of a pain. Breakfast was okay.

Nice hotel. Updated amenities in the room. Clean and inviting

My complaint is, I was on the ground floor, and there was a mild mold problem with the room I was staying in (Room 111). I had a scratchy throat when I woke up the next morning. Fortunately, I was only there for a very short time, but it would not be tolerable for more than 2 nights. I believe the issue was bad enough to dock 1 star. However, if they cleared the mold, this would be an easy 5 star review.

Our room was very clean and well maintained. The staff were helpful when we needed extra towels or when we asked about the breakfast served. Coffee and tea was available 24 hours which is nice after a long day. The exterior porch needs some maintenance, but if you can get passed that it is definitely a jewel to find and stay.

I am sensitive to fragrance and my critique focuses on this issue. When I arrived, I had to change rooms because it smelled like perfume had been spilled. I stayed for a week in a smaller room, but had a good visit. When I returned two weeks later for 10 days, I had 2 key complaints: when I did my laundry, it came out, smelling far worse than it went in. Then somebody connected to my room started smoking (in a non-smoking hotel), and, although I complained, the problem was not resolved. I left a night early despite the extra work, as I had multiple suitcases. The staff works very hard, but sometimes foul smells can impact customer satisfaction.

to the main entrance. A very dirty fridge in the breakfast area is unacceptable. The inside looked like it hasn't been cleaned for a long time. Too crowded to take a pic. The breads were wrapped with plastic by the couple, is good. Other than that, everything else are satisfactory. Could have been a 5-star.

The hotel address is so confusing and there are no lite signs , there is one very small towards the parking and its hard to find.

We could have asked for a different room, but we had like 45 minutes to hang out before we had to go to a performance. Then we were staying one night, arriving back around 10. Seemed like a hassle to try to move when we were tired. Room was otherwise clean. Bed was comfortable. Sheets were smooth. Hotel office/lobby area seemed to have boxes of paper flowing out from behind the desk area, which was weird. Seemed disorganized. Didn't get to have breakfast, as we slept later and checked out earlier than we'd planned.

Helen at the front desk was nice and professional, she explained all the amenities and breakfast. My one complaint is the beds were size full, not queen and were so uncomfortable.
-
The breakfast buffet was good. The room and hallway smelled musty and moldy! And we were charged much more than the booking price quote.
-
Maintained. Almost looked brand new and at a very good location. Would stay there again and highly recommend.

It was wonderful. Room clean, staff friendly, tasty breakfast and employees going out of their way to make us happy.

Helen at the front desk got me into my room a little early and made sure I was taken care of, as I arrived early on my bicycle, even though they had sold out the night before. Jackie did a great job with breakfast. The grounds could have been better maintained. Bee/wasp nest in the rose bushes that really need pruning, trash in parking lot, AC was noisy and thermostat on the wall didn’t work.
