The front desk girl Samreen is a gem. The staff was slow. Maintenance was not proper. Major issue with cleanliness.

The paint was peeling off in room we stayed in it wasn’t air conditioned as mentioned in description plus we had to ask for hair dryer which was old and iron as well it was so old

Worst ... not recommended at all. price does not match with hotel facilities. most of rooms are stinking badly.

It’s well maintained and the staff is courteous. The historical significance is still intact. It’s about time that now hotels should have a better solution for soaps on the sink. There was no holder for that and the soapy water was spreading all over the sink top. Secondly, if it’s a twin bedroom, there should be at least two towel sets by default.

The heritage building is exceptionally beautiful. Place is peaceful. House keeping staff is very cooperative. We booked a studio room, which was spacious and comfortable. However, the room had a persistent unpleasant smell throughout our stay, and the carpet in the lounge appeared dirty and needed proper cleaning. The breakfast experience was also disappointing. There was only one waiter serving all the guests, and he was quite rude and inattentive. We had to repeat our requests multiple times before they were acknowledged, which made the service frustrating.

Room was a suite. Bedroom itself was cozy. Fridge in sitting. Android TV in both bedroom and sitting. Ample space. AC working. Sockets beside bed. Lift was out on account of maintenance. Bathroom great. Hotel main building and its garden, ground, outdoor area was amazing to roam and sit and play. Really good. I think the rooms in their main building are an overkill according to price just for some ambiance and decor. Best part was the 5 min walking distance to mall road. On ground horse rides for kids and balloon gun range. Good breakfast setting but very limited options. only eggs benedict and no omellete or fry egg stations. But there were atleast breakfast curries. A little slow on refills. but maybe due to less guests. No bathroom slippers and only the foam slippers provided on call. When asked to heat up food, they heat it up in the containers provided instead of taking it out first. Cutlery was provided on call. No view from room windows. Price on the higher side.

History Not a good experience to stay in Cecil Hotel. We (4 persons) stayed for 2 nights in Executive Suit. First day we checked in and move out for Murree tour. When returned in the evening, there was No hot water in the bath room. We informed Front Desk, Warm water started after 45 minutes, while we took Shower with cold water. Next morning, there was No Water, Not in Taps, Shower and WC. Again contacted Front Desk, Water started after 10 minutes, but not clean. Look at the picture I took after waiting 20 minutes.

Location was great and heritage wing is amazing with a historic touch . All staff were excellent but would like to mention Dilawar and Mashal who both gave us personal attention . Very polite , professional and accommodating Heritage wing is pricy

Rooms smell bad , bedding appeared used, and the beds seemed infested with bugs. Breakfast buffet was very poorly managed—dishes were not refilled properly and staff seemed disorganized. The rooms are spacious and have an old-time charm

Am overall it was a good stay especially the staff was so helpful also breakfast was great but Am room was just okay as it was quite outdated for the price, also one of heaters was not working

I loved how accommodating and helpful the staff was. We arranged my mother’s mini birthday surprise at midnight and everyone was so supportive. The mattress was a bit hard.

It’s amazing heritage site built in 1852. Heritage rooms were amazing with modern facilities. Staff is amazing Location is great.

Online it looks good. It is very far from the city center where the action is. We were not allowed entrance at the checkpoint, despite online confirmation. Haughty personnel, very far from city center
