Great place to stay.

Great little hotel! Loved our stay and will stay again.

The rooms were clean but there was no elevator to the 2nd floor and up. This needs to be in the description of the rooms. Handicap people should no book any room other than the 1st floor.

Right on the beach, views were great! Really nice clean pool as well. Only downside is there is not an elevator.

It was amazing. Full refrigerator, micro wave, coffee pot, cabinet for food stiorage. Small couch for 3, plus small table with 2 chairs. Execellent for a week stay. Oh yea step in shower. Down size no elevator but shalloiw size stairs. Ocean view perfect!!!! Close to basics

Do not stay at Garden City Inn. The reviews and photos online do not accurately reflect the state of the property. The beds are hard and uncomfortable, the room was not clean, and upper management does not care about your experience. I cut my stay short due to the dirty conditions of the room (soap scum and dirt in the shower, hair on the floor and towels) and how uncomfortable the bed and sheets were. Upon checking out, I asked the employee at the front desk if it was possible for us to have a partial refund for Saturday since we would not be staying there. He was kind and apologetic and urged us the reach out to the GM as he could not make that call. I reached out to Susan the GM and explained the situation. 4 days later and I have yet to hear back from her. Do not waste your money here.

We were placed on the 3rd floor with no elevator…2 elderly people and a pregnant woman…we were reassured that someone would carry our luggage up for us…that was false.

Beach, pool tables/chairs and room were perfect. Although we prefer better quality pillows, but we'll bring our own next time. Everything was great with the exception of the new sliding glass door. It was very difficult to open/close.... even my 205 lb husband had to use all of his weight to close it. Maintenance fixed it one day, but I think whomever put it in didn't align it or something correctly. We'll be back for ure though!!!

The beach and location. Access to the beach. Friendly staff. Wish there where more at store next to hotel to choose from.

Location was great! Better beach than Myrtle Beach. There were a few leftover dishes that were not cleaned and out away dirty.

Front office staff was friendly and helpful. The room had water damage that had not been repaired.
