MyCocoon Hostel

The pool was dirty and not cleaned once when we stayed. Though they cleaned the rooms daily there were so many people to a dorm the bathrooms got dirty fast and the toilet seats were broken and slid around. Also, quiet hours are in place at night but the other people in the room will not respect that rule unless you are very forceful, and unfortunately reception is not open at night so there’s no one to enforce the quiet hours. I know it’s Mykonos, but for the quality of the hostel it is way overpriced.

The location was the only good thing. The staff was so rude. The lady in the reception treated us like trash since the beginning. We hade a misunderstanding and when we did the check out the lady screamed and yelled at us, zero polite and no trying to understand our side. We were very uncomfortable with the situation :( The room for 6 girls is so tight, it was impossible for all 6 girls stay in the room in the same time, and there was no room to put our things either.

Ceapest option found A drunk host came back to the room with a man (the room wasn't mixed). Truly unpleasant

A lot of people in one room so the space to store luggage was minimal but this is expected in a hostel. It is a party island so people were coming into the room at all hours of the night. Nothing wrong with it just be aware :)

Really good location, within 2-5 min walk from the main town / beach. We stayed in a private room which offered all we needed to sleep for the night! Beautiful building though, very clean and beautiful. Nice rooftop area, with a convenience store right below. Walking distance from the port as well, lots of great things nearby. For the private room/bathroom, there is a glass pane between the bed/bathroom area which is not frosted - including where the toilet is..unless you’re super comfortable pooping in front of your partner, then it may not be the place for you! Door had small gaps in it, which wasn’t ideal to think people might be able to see in while we were out! Pool was also dirty and couldn’t swim in it, which was a shame.

Expensive for a hostel but it is Mykonos

Easy to find and location was reasonable No windows in the room. Water from shower leaks from under the door throughout room. Too small for four people. Door handle kept falling off. Pool not functioning no water.

Clean rooms. Great rooftop and location in city. You can hear everyone in other rooms or in the hallway when staying in the private rooms.

Steps away from the old town There’s no window in the room but I didn’t even notice because that was the best sleep ever. The most comfortable bed and pillows. I really needed that rest Thank you so much

It was clean and easy walking to town and large lockers. Also a shop outside for drinks and beautiful common area There was only one window so the room got stuffy in the afternoon or when people showered and wasn’t easy to vent. Also the keys to the lockers were very noisy anytime someone needed something it was bound to wake you

Excellent location, right across from the taxi stand, and a 2-minute walk from the bus and seabus station. The hostel has an ATM, a mini-market, and the option to rent motorbikes or cars, or book tourist experiences on the island. Plus, the terrace offers a lovely view of Mykonos. Best of all, Elena and her team did an excellent job accommodating my mobility issues. I can only express my gratitude and my desire to stay there again.

Location is oerfect , the hotel is beautiful and the pool is nice

The pool was amazing! Loved the location. Loved the sound proofing that came with my double sized bed and privacy. I left a few things on the rooftop at night and they were gone in the morning.

Wonderful hostel! Incredibly clean, staff was so nice and helpful, amazing location with it being just an 8 minute walk from Little Venice. Very cute common area with a pool and a nice view. We felt very safe and had secure lockers for our stuff. Definitely worth it to stay here!

The rooftop terrace with a pool was fantastic! great place to be social and relax- right above a convenient 24h mini market in the middle of Mykonos (but so quiet you'd not know!) Staff were super helpful with us needing an early checkout and gave good food recommendations. Also, there is a scooter/ rv hire place right next to the hostel which was super handy. If you are staying in a private room with a friend PLEASE make sure you are close... there is no bathroom but there is a toilet and shower in the room- we had no issue with this but I can imagine it being awks if you aren't close!
