Awesome spot away from the chaos where you can chill pool side with the bar or in your room(lots of space) but could easily walk down to the bars and beach etc. Harry was awesome had a good few yarns with him

Location is perfect, walking distance from the beach, also from the bus stop, still far enough from night clubs so we could sleep like babies. Breakfast could have been better, in variety sense, but for 3 nights stay, it was ok. Furniture was a bit shabby, but still functional (bed was super comfortable).

Perfect location close to bars and restaurants, staff were friendly and property/ rooms were clean and well maintained :) Room was a little outdated but honestly for such a short stay it wasn’t a problem

The Marcos Beach, as the name suggests is a 3 minute stroll to the most stunning beach. It is close to facilities and restaurants but offers tranquility in the evening and spectacular views across the bay. The family owners, Marcos, Jackie and Harry are warm, hospitable and went out of their way to accommodate our needs, including personalising our pillows. Harry collected us when we arrived at Ios port and dropped us back, even though it was an early ferry. They shared a wealth of knowledge about the area and their restaurant recommendations were spot on, offering great authentic Greek food at responsible prices in beautiful locations. The pool area was large with ample, free sun beds. There are many pogodas offering sofas to enjoy the vista as you eat breakfast or take in the sunset or have a drink at the bar! The room was always spotless and cleaned daily. We would definitely stay here again. This hotel is great for families, couples and friends who want to enjoy this amazing location.

Property is in a great location with stunning views. Air-con was not great and could not be left on unless in the room

Nice hotel, great location, friendly people. Be great if could serve a bit more food for breakfast as was the same everyday but will not complain as something is better than nothing. Lunch I would had ate a few times there but not a big variety of food.

We have travelled from Australia and have been travelling for 6 weeks. We felt at home staying at Marco’s beach. The staff were beautiful and the owner Jackie was incredible. The location was spot on, a 5 minute walk to the beach. We will be returning next year for sure. We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay ! We should have stayed longer !

great location, very friendly staff, nice pool!
-
Open layout, sea view, swimming pool Everything just an average or below average. Not welcoming warm hospitality like other hotels in Greek islands not helpful when we needed, very disappointing ended up having to leave in the middle of the stay

Myself and my sister stayed here whilst travelling Greece for the month. We really enjoyed our stay at Marcos Beach, really good location to beach and/or bars/restaurants. Really reliable public transport (bus) to the port and chora. The pool was really nice and the hotel was kept really clean. All good but breakfast was quite limited.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Marcos Beach Hotel in Ios, and it was an unforgettable experience! This family-run hotel truly offers a home-away-from-home atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and outstanding service. Our room was beautifully appointed with all the comforts we needed, and the views from our balcony were absolutely stunning—perfect for a relaxing getaway. What truly sets Marcos Beach Hotel apart is the incredible staff. Harry, in particular, was such a nice guy and made our stay even more special with his friendly demeanor and helpfulness. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect in every way. I highly recommend Marcos Beach Hotel to anyone visiting Ios. It is a haven of comfort, beauty, and exceptional service. Thank you to everyone at Marcos Beach Hotel for making our stay so memorable. We can't wait to return

Sshhhh keep this quiet. This place is great! Laid back chilled atmosphere in a very picturesque semi-rural location overlooking the nearby beach. Hotel owner Jackie & her family are a refreshing treat. In recent years Ive stayed at a few other very good "Gucci" styled hotels around Mylopotos Beach. However, Marcos Beach Hotel is set back away from the "main road" & is much quieter & more secluded from the hustle & bustle of the main beach. The room had a fantastic balcony view over the fields across to the nearby by beach & sea. It was lovely to wake up to the sound of sheep/goat foraging away in the early morning, their bells clanging away or listening to the rhythmic noise of crickets as the day developed. I stayed the end of May before the main summer season began which suited me fine. I can't recommend the Marcos Beach higher than by saying I definitely hope to return again in the near future. Nothing - but if they could tweak up the sun a tad more end of May would be fab!! :)
