Niki Rooms

Olivia was a nice host; she was responsive and gave us some great local recommendations. Since there were three of us, we really appreciated that we each had our own bed. The thing to note is that the kitchen has a single electric plate, so so cooking might take a bit longer if you're preparing a full meal...

The host was quick to respond, gave clear instructions and met us with the keys. The location is nice, close to both the beach and the village center, with free parking nearby. And the village itself (Paleochora) is a perfect spot to spend at least a day or two. The kitchen is shared by the three apartments, and the dishes (food + saucers + cutlery) then have to be brought into the apartment to consume (there is a table in the kitchen but eating there would largely prevent others from using the kitchen), and then the dishes returned to the kitchen and washed. This is of course much better than no kitchen, but can cause tricky situations if several families wish to use the kitchen and/or the pots/pans at the same time. The Wi-Fi is there but at least during our stay worked poorly; most of the time it was either very slow or not working at all, which would not be too much of a problem but for the lack of any data-transfer-capable mobile network (in our experience at most EDGE/2G throughout the village), so e.g. using Google Maps took quite some efforts/time to locate/navigate to the spots to go to.

It was really a very clean, perfect room! Very close to the beach and the center. Also the staff was very kind, we forgot a t-shirt in the room and they kindly sent it back to us! Thanks a lot!

It was close to the beach, great location. The "big" showers were super fancy compared to the rooms itself, but we loved them. The rooms were simple but had everything we needed. We received small water bottles and fruits upon our arrival and also a little bag with shower gel, shampoo and soap. Like every where in Greece we had some cute visitors (cats). There was a common kitchen and space to sit down together. This place was definitely worth the money spent. Thank you! One of the bathrooms had a clogged drainage so the water didn't go down, which almost caused a flooding of the room. The common area was nice, but a tad small with a bigger amount of people.

Everything is good: location,position on the end of beach of paleochora near the shopping,supermarket and the centreof the village...the room is big and comfortable with attention to detail with welcome kit bedroom slippers, shared kitchen and the bathroom has a fantastic shower.I highly recommend also for the good price Nothing everything is ok

Niki Rooms is in a great location, just a few steps from the beach and also just a few minutes walk from the actual center of Paleochora. The room itself was spacious and clean. The shower was very comfortable (and suitable for tall people). Olivia helped us with everything we needed and had great restaurant recommendations. We’d be happy to stay at Niki Rooms again in the future. /
