Exceptionally and professionally prepared breakfast! Excellent location, short walk to everything: bus terminal, convenience stores, restaurants and lovely beach areas. Friendly and helpful host. We stayed four nights, in a typical Japanese room with the tatami flooring! The common space was nicely decorated with vintage rustic decor. Nothing.

Uniqueness of green surroundings and historical significance added to an ideal central location. Comfortable local appeal with a wonderfully exceptional host whose culinary skills were highly outstanding! Most memorable homestyle lodging!!

The hotel is very cute and staff is super friendly, plus they speak English very well since one of the owner is half American. The cats are so cute!! And the breakfast was super yummy, freshly made and delicious. The room with the tatami was also a great experience! Some facilities are a bit old, for instance the room was very cold during the night, and everything is a bit old.

Cosy little room in an old house that is beautifully maintained. Reachable by public transport from Naha airport, and also also able to access public transport to other attractions like the aquarium and castle.
-
Extended my stay as it can be used as base to visit other attractions like aquarium and the castle as it has access to public transportation to/fro those places.

This hotel has ambiance because it is old and loved.THe pieces of art and other decor were intriguing. The room was quite comfortable. Easy to find from the bus stop. Convenience store and places to eat were nearby.

The centrally located hotel with free parking and the nicely decorated room. I received compensation in cash (¥2,500 per day) for the inability to prepare a lactose-free breakfast. Due to the fact that my room (#205) was located on the side of the busy road (two-way traffic), I couldn't sleep at the beginning of the late evening and also after early morning (approximately 05:00 hours). I didn't get value for my money.

Such a cute little hotel. Wondeful breakfast

Very charming accomodation for Nago! The room was very spacious and we loved the pink bathroom! Simple check in, host spoke great English. We didn’t have towels in the room when we arrived and they quickly organised some for us and were very kind. The breakfast cafe attached to the premises looked very nice but there was no one inside so we went elsewhere.
-
Room was much larger than I anticipated! I enjoyed the tatami in the room. The bathroom was large and the bath was tiled and slanted so you can easily lay comfortably. It was pink which I thought was fab. There are also 2 resident cats who are very friendly that require pets when you walk past

Nice japanese tatami room. Good atmosphere.

Hotel is very close to the bus stop, so it's very comfortable - you don't need to walk too much with the heat :) It's about 40-60min to get to gorgeous beaches and Aquarium. Hotel was very comfortable and we had a beautiful view to the tropical forest. The owner was extremely nice and helped us with early check-in and late check-out so we could take a nice shower after long days. Cats living in the hotel were soooo friendly and it's was a pleasure to come back to see them ;) The room was quite vintage - it was quite nice, but bathroom was getting too humid due to the lack of the proper ventilation.

The owner is really kind and friendly. She even cut the pineapple that we bought at a farmers market for us. There are two cats chilling outside all day. They were super cute. Be careful if you are allergic to cats. I loved the breakfast too! It was so tasty and made a great start for the day. Nothing special. The hotel is over 50 years old so it’s not new, but still it is clean.

It was very cozy, the aircon was amazing after a day of travelling !
-
Friendly and efficient staff. The aircon was not working properly. When i looked for staff for help at reception no one was there.

Passable

This hotel has a great atmosphere, you feel at home there. The owner is an excellent cook. Our room was big and cosy and there are lovely cuddly cats living in the hotel.
-
The hotel was built in the 1960s and it really has a vintage atmosphere, we liked it very much. Nice location, a bit out of the way, but the city of Nago is not large and everything is close, no more than a 10-minute walk to the bus, restaurant or combini. The service is very nice, but unfortunately they are rarely on site, so in case of problems you have to call and wait. Wifi was very weak, it was practically impossible to use it in the room, you had to go out to the patio, and for several days it was not available at all, and we really needed it.

Good

- near beach, supermarkets, restaurants, bus station - nice, clean and big room - cute decoration - a/c - staff not really there (own checkin/checkout), no one to ask about the region - shower without curtain, so the bath gets really wet
