Jinling Mansion Nanjing

The hotel is located right in front of the Mochouhu metro station, so travelling anywhere is a breeze. Also, the hotel is pretty nice (the rooms are clean, though perhaps a little older, and contains everything you would expect, e.g. a laundry room... the rooms also have power outlets compatible with European connectors!), the food (breakfast) was always very tasty, and the staff were always pleasant and helpful. There wasn't really anything that I wouldn't like as such. The only very minor inconvenience was that the staff didn't speak English. This is precisely what mobile translators are for though, so it wasn't really much of a problem.

The room was big and had huge windows, that opened, which provided great ventilation. There was also a little fridge in the room and great variety of TV channels. Best of all: metro station Line 2 is opposite the hotel. This made it very easy to get around Nanjing. The staff helped me locate sights and what I truly appreciate is that they directed me to Jiangsu Provincial Hospital, where I received excellent treatment for 6 days as an outpatient. I wish the corridors had as nice a floor as the rooms. But then the carpet kept the hotel very quiet.

Breakfast is good None thing

On a main Street, easy to find the hotel. The room was spacious.Free breakfast was included. There seemed that nothing worked including TV and internet. Wall sockets were under curtains and we're difficult to use kettle and table lamp. Quite a distance to nearest metro station.

No push shower in bathroom, which is requirement for Muslim guest

It was located right next to metro line.This made sightseeing very comfortable. The room was also very well equiped, with anything you might need. The room was very old, without any renovations, which made it look dirty. Also we've seen a big cockroach crawl out of the wall, but it returned there as soon as he saw us.

I really liked the position, it was just in front of the subway and easily accessible also by bike. The room was cleaned. The staff wasn't able to speak English, super long check in. The infrastructure is really old, it's definitely not a 3/4 stars hotel as booking suggests. There was dust everywhere and also the breakfast was not that good. The breakfast room was not cleaned properly. The trade off between quality and price could be better.

It's very close (5 min walking distance) to the Mochouhu Subway station, there was breakfast buffet (Chinese) with a reasonable choice of dishes. Everything in the room, though dated, seemed very clean and price competitive. Nobody at the reception spoke any other language but Chinese. The form they want you to fill out is strange and detailed - here it would be helpful if someone could explain in English what info they wanted. In the front of the hotel there is no sign whatsoever saying 'hotel', 'motel' or anything recognizable in pinyan so I walked passed by it the first time, the lobby looks like a badly lit office building. The instructions on their website not too clear either.

I would like to suggest for some asian indian foods not only Chinese. Hotel stuff are very polite and friendly.Thank you to them.

Exceptional

Good location for subway and bus. When I booked the room, it indicated that it is no-smoking room/facility but the smoking smells every where. I stayed 4 days, the noise of fixing the elevator started at 8 am for last three days. The room phone didn’t work. The bathroom is old and looked dirty.
