a tranquil property set in delightful gardens with an outside terrace complete with on open fire which we enjoyed every evening. The accommodation was a welcome sanctuary at the end of the day and the staff were exceptional. Muriuki in particular was efficient, reliable and discreet organising early breakfasts brought to our room, packed lunches and late evening meals. He and his fellow workers made sure that our fire burnt brightly and that we were comfortable and happy at all times.

Lovely location and a perfect getaway, but it is steep in price. The accommodation is great. We liked the cottages with the verandah, and the gardens are great. The swimming pool area is lovely. The swimming pool did not look clean, so we didn't use it. The nature trail is a bit restrictive as it was steep. The cafeteria is well designed but we couldn't choose where to sit and the breakfast should be a buffet. We didn't like being asked what we would like to eat. By the time the breakfast reached our table from the kit hen upstairs, it was cold. The eggs were either overdone or not as we would have liked them.

The tent was very nice. You have everything you need in the kitchen. The bed was comfortable. Location is superb. The dinner was good but you can improve a little bit.

The staff were so helpful and kind. We had lovely conversations with Tony. The tent rooms are beautiful and it was wonderful to have the fireplace to heat up cold evenings. Nothing. It was a perfect stay.

though the food is limited， it wont hurt you to get the limited food and have a taste， and the view is the best， i add some money for a tent， though its a little far，the bedding is nice and warm，and those shower products， nice. the staffs are helpful and friendly the shower water in our tent is totally cold， well the bonfire make the compromise so we dont get fever in this season， and i think there should have one time slippers， those in the room are smelly，and there are some cockroachs in the room as a company（maybe because its a tent and i should piont out as a tent you cant avoid some bugs in your room and some animals jumping above the ceiling at night，as well as hearing the unpleasant voice from some birds， but my sleep over there is still worth）

The perfect description of a hidden gem. You get the true meaning of being “home away from home”. The tranquility, thoughtful architecture and amazing service is unparalleled! Can’t wait to go back. There’s nothing not to love about the property! But the breakfast serving can include some fresh juice ?. We also mentioned to the management regarding having a few hammocks down by the river.

spacious, modern bath and thoughtful amenities, exceptional pillows and linens, tender filet properly cooked and served on the lanai, fireplace that was set and burned correctly, landscaping tasteful by owner who stopped to discuss signage to locate obscure access, GPS that mislead
