B&B Hotel Napoli

Close to the subway, train station and restaurants. The room temperature was warm even with the air conditioning.

Old building but overral very good.

The room is very large and clean with comfy bed. Wifi connection, air-conditioning and shower water are all stable. It is at the plaza in front of the station so very convenient. Nice restaurants just few seconds walk nearby so it feels safe to enjoy dinner and get back even a bit late of the day. Not really the problem of the hotel itself but I visited in a summer and there were mosquitoes in the room which made me stayed up almost all night :( Also there seems to be no service lift in the building, so during rush hours in the morning it is very difficult to take the elevator as the staff is taking it for the service.

As others have said the location has some fairly rough streets near it but piazza Garibaldi itself seems fine. There were police cars parked right outside, because it’s outside the station, and that’s why it’s such a convenient place to stay. Via dei Tribunali and Spaccanapoli with all their attractions are both easily walkable and everywhere else is accessible by tube or bus from the station. Our “superior” room was basic but spacious and clean, and although the beds looked less than luxurious they were very comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious. Superior rooms seem to include a little fridge which was convenient. Breakfast had a limited hot selection (scrambled egg and either Italian sausage or bacon), cheeses and continental meats, and a very extensive choice of sweet pastries and cakes. The coffee machine was excellent too. The roof terrace was a highlight for us. It’s not smart, just a roof with some seats, no bar or staff up there, but it was very chilled to come back with some beers and watch the night fall over Vesuvius. There is traffic noise, the shutters pretty well blocked it out but maybe not entirely. The air conditioning was a bit temperamental but the room got reasonably cool. The roads in Naples are generally a bit terrifying and you’re going to have to deal with a fairly major one right outside - I think the secret is take your time, look both ways for a reasonable gap - and then go for it decisively - otherwise you’ll spend your holiday hovering on the kerb.

Not being able to get back in after certain hours. It can be very loud at times with so much activity going on right out side.

The location, staff and room service were great. Nothing to dislike but only wish the air conditioning was colder as over all room did not get cold but was not hot either. This is personal preference as I like the room colder.

This hotel was very conveniently located for our stay, as we were only staying in Naples for the one night, and needed easy accommodations to the train station. There was a lot of good looking restaurants in the area, and getting around was very easy. The bed was SO comfortable, and the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly.

The location was great. Near the central station right on the square. The staff were great. The shower was a little small which is common in Europe. But my biggest complaint was the A/C wasn’t that great. The staff came and made it a little better but it wasn’t the best. The area is a little rough.

It was easy to get to the bus station and metro stations The street noise was very bad on our room. We were in a room with a window to the street. Avoid those if possible

The bathroom is very small with no toiletries. The room had no minibar and its decor is very basic. The decor of the lobby is gloomy. The hotel needs a MAJOR upgrade of its premises. In short it is quite overpriced.

It was not luxurious but it wasn't meant to be. In fact, I'd say it was probably nicer than I would have expected for what I was paying, so overall not a complaint.

I'm sorry the photos below were the wrong ones. The reception was receptive of requests and respond promptly. There was a police car parked in front of the property which made me safe. My wife was pickpocketed after her walk and she told the receptionist. She gave me tips on how to protect my backpack. She really liked Napoli and she will be back in the future.
