Don Raffaele Resort - Guest House

The location was great. The size of the bathroom. The view of the port and castle. The sink in the bathroom was broken but functional. The stem of the faucet was loose.

Great location. Very helpful host. Thank you for a great stay. Nothing to dislike in this accommodation.

Accommodation was central, three minute walk from the port. Host was welcoming and shared lots of information of places of interest. Room lovely and clean, great view of the castle. Accommodation was difficult to locate as the main doors are closed on a Sunday, however the host did come outside to find us ??

Beautiful tile work in the bathroom, nice sized room. Close to the port if you are taking a ferry to other islands. The owner has employed a most excellent staff. Avoid room #1 it is right next to the elevator (which is very old and groans) meaning you will hear it at all times especially at night

The location was great and near the port which was my next destination to Sorrento by ferry. The Alibus also drops off nearby (from the airport) - estimated 5 to 7 mins walk. The lifts needed coins to function (which was provided by host but a hassle if you forgot). There is no one at reception.

Location couldn’t have been any better. It was right across the street from the pier and everything I wanted to do was boat tours…. Rooms are sparse but clean and comfortable. Marco was very pleasant and allowed me to check in early and made sure I was OK. I locked myself out and he came right over. He couldn’t have been nicer. There was a taxi stand on the corner and there were party stores available if you wanted water or snacks. Walking distant restaurants. There was an espresso machine in the common area and also a microwave plus extra snacks. Your room was stocked with a few snacks, tea, and coffee with an electric pot for heating water. There was a safe and a small refrigerator in the room.. you have to put a coin in the elevator to go up and down and that is supplied in the common room and you just help yourself to the coins that you need daily. There’s a series of three keys, one to open the door outside,one to open the room where the seven rooms are on the eighth floor ..along with the common area and then a key to your room. All are on a chain so it’s easy to use.. The rooms are very good size. The bathrooms are good size and I had a balcony that looked out to the pier. It was a wonderful price. Saturday night was very noisy because you’re right by the pier, but most of the other nights were comfortable. I would’ve liked a fan. The air conditioning kept it cool enough, but there was no circulation, but I never asked for one so I really can’t say that that wasn’t a choice if I had to ask.

Location was close to the port which was great…like so close! It was a 3 minute walk. This location also meant we were close to a lot of excursion pick up/drop off spots. Also was super short walk from where airbus dropped us off. Photo attached to this review shows view from balcony- proximity to port. Room was clean. Building was quiet and secure. Managed to arrange an early check in which was lovely. I didn’t have a ten cent coin when I first arrived! This meant I couldn’t use the lift. I would just advise anyone checking in to have one! Going up 8 flights of stairs with large suitcases in that heat was so tiring! I really appreciated the property putting out coins for guests to use the lift.

The apartment is in amazing location with absolutely extremely helpful manager. If I could I would give him 15 points Everything was great ? It exceeded my expectations!!!!

The location was perfect. The room is well designed and the view was amazing. Marco is the perfect host and was extremely helpful. He deserves a raise!

The staff (Marco) was very responsive, helpful and patient in answering all our questions about the area, restaurants, important sites, mode of transportation and where to shop.

Our room was clean, spacious comfortable, had everything we needed and an amazing view! Marco and Antonio were friendly and informative hosts and helped with directions to get there and excellent recommendations for the local area. The facilities in the room were great and the shared kitchen area was very handy. The location is excellent for exploring Naples and really convenient for arriving/leaving on the airport bus and for hopping onto the metro or walking around the city! Our 4 day stay was nowhere near enough time to explore the whole city! - we would not hesitate to stay here again to visit more!

Exceptional

I really liked the location. It is ideal for undertaking trips to the amalfi coast (cruise pier, pick up points for round trips as well as the airport bus stop are all directly opposite to the resort ). The location is very save and conveniently located in between the old town and the Chaia district which both are very interesting places. I preferred the location to the train station or the old town which are more congested and also to the Spanish quarter which is situated on a very steep slope. The metro stop is also in front of the resort. The resort is clean and modern. The room has a generous size and is equipped with all modern equipment. Coffee and cookies are for free in the hallway. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Nothing really. I only advice people to take a room on the side of the castle because one can hear the elevator on the other side.
