The view was SPECTACULAR and the room size was perfect! Lovely bathroom! Fabulous swimming pool and outside viewing deck, across from the pool too! A very kind worker, at the front desk, let us check in 90 minutes early, as our room was ready, which allowed me time to spend at the pool after a long drive. A+++! When we first walked into the hotel and went to the counter, to check in, the young woman didn't even look to see if our room was ready and told us that check in time was 3:00 and to come back then (which was is 90 minutes.) She wasn't very friendly, like the rest of your staff is, and seemed to feel good about turning us away. She put NO EFFORT into looking up our reservation and simply turned us away. When I told my husband that we couldn't check in, I went to the other side of the front desk and asked the more mature gentleman if he could see if our room was ready, and it was TWO MINUTES after I asked the women, he gladly looked it up and gave us the keys! I give the man an A+++ and I give the young woman an F for fail in customer service. Thank you for asking!

The AC worked well. And location was good, and very central. The breakfast also had variety. Cons: *****I just want to leave a complaint that the Hotel Royal Continental has denied that we stayed here thru Booking.com due to my issue upon arrival. Because I said I would give an honest review of hotel they said we didn't stay here! ***Which we did and paid for two rooms here. I feel by doing this they are biasing true guests experience. The issue was that I was told that we could book use of the pool, and upon arrival(3:40pm with a 3pm allowed check in) we were denied. Ariana, front manager, did arrange two chairs at pool for us, but the painful attitude and lack of hospitality. Be aware of not the cleanest of hotels, especial the bathroom/shower.

The pool & the cocktail lounge on the roof. It was very very nice to be in a more modern atmosphere. The breakfast was good. Room needed updating. It was dark & dingy. The bed wasn’t very comfortable.

We booked two partial ocean views and got one full ocean view and one with none. We didn't complain though.

The location was amazing. Plenty of things to do around the port. The gelato was delicious. Antonios and Antonias was a lovely place to enjoy the boardwalk at the end of day. There was no steamer or iron.. We could not use hotel towels for laying out on the rocks or the beach

The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a convenient location. The staff were polite and the facilities themselves were well maintained. Guests are unable to use the facilities after check-out, which was not clearly disclosed when booking. As we had a late departure, this would have influenced our choice of hotel had we known in advance.

Location - some rooms overlook harbour. Staff friendly and helpful Room service efficient Very outdated decor, maybe 1960s(?!). Lifts very small, musty smell in corridors. Rooms and communal areas in much need of a total renovation. Seems unusual to ‘book’ time/ hours to use pool and enforce cap to be worn. No seating on balcony. Air con is not very powerful. Bathrooms very old fashioned- brown tiles and shower over bath. Could be lovely if completed renovation.
