Domus Aurea

The wifi didn't work the entire time we were there, we contacted the property manager about it many times and were ignored most of the time. We had to purchase data and we asked for some form of compensation which they refused. The "free breakfast" was from a cafe called Mexico Bar Cilea. You should look up the reviews before going there for the espresso and cornetto. They yelled at us and swore at us and we couldn't understand them so we didn't know what we were doing wrong. We ended up not going there for the breakfast after the first 2 times. The shower was extremely mouldy. Also, this isn't the propertys fault but our food was stolen from the fridge so I wouldn't recommend using it.

Exceptional

The place was situated in one of the better areas of the city and quite close to the city centre. The nearest subway station was a bit over half a km away. Be aware that this accommodation is not suitable for non-Italian speakers. The hostess doesn't speak or understand English at all. The location was hard to find (we wandered around over an hour before finding it). The hostess couldn't be reached by phone. Even our taxi driver tried to contact her in vain. We ran out of toilet paper during our stay and had to buy more ourselves. Do not expect any cleaning in your room during your stay (we booked 8 nights) that's not going to happen. But I guess you get what you're willing to pay for.

The staff was great, the place is big and clean. It is located in one of the best neighbourhoods of Naples. Some of the other guests were too loud.

The area is really nice. Not working kitchen, small breakfast, bad shower.

The room and bathroom were Very clean. Room was confortable. No WiFi and the host didn't even try to fix it. No toilet seat.

The room was excellent. Very clean and comfortable. It is situated "in the centre but not in the bussy centre. To the heart of the down town is a very simple connection by metro or funicular. The breakfast was (capucino and variety of croisans) was top. In my oppinion it was over the expected standard. nothing

Unfortunately the place was not what we expected. Everything in the room could be heard from outside. We could not sleep normally because of the incessant noise of other people around us. At first we were accommodated in a room with a bathroom, but the shower was broken. Then, without any explanation, they moved us to another room where the sheets had not been changed by the previous people and smelled of sweat. We had to change them ourselves. There was no bathroom in this room and we had to share one with the other tenants.

The local food and laundry service. Many flights of stairs for heavy bikes. Quite a distance from the centre. Clothes went missing.

Loved everything about this property . The place looks a lot better in person then the photos online . Everything was clean and the host was very nice .
