The host was great! The room was nice and the location was great. The only problem was the room had suffocating perfume that caused a severe allergy and asthma attack which caused a terrible migraine Way too much perfume in the room

Well before I even arrived in Napoli, the hostess Maria Grazia made her warmth and hospitality brilliantly evident. She is willing to provide kind and informed guidance no matter the guest's degree of familiarity with the unforgettable, busy (and often hectic) city. Located in a great spot nestled in il Quartiere Chiaia, overlooking Carità Materdei convent -- close to Mappatella Beach, public transport, Posillipo, Vomero, loads of high-end shopping, and naturally dozens upon dozens of terrific restaurants. Bonus points for one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. I wish I had known about lo Specchio on my LAST visit to Napoli! This was 100% out of anyone's control, but due to an earthquake a few weeks prior to my stay, some of the structures of the building had shifted, rendering the wooden doorframe misaligned. For me this was no deterrent, but it required some extra strength to manipulate one of the doors to the secure appartament -- an issue which servicemen were seemingly busy addressing along with a multitude of other issues throughout the neighbourhood as a result of the earthquake.

Beautiful location, beautiful building and Maria was so kind. Good communication and I just felt really safe as a solo traveler staying here. ? View of Capri Island and Mount Vesuvius from the room.

I liked the neighborhood of Chiaia. It's close--but not in the middle--of all the action. The views from the room were pleasant and the proprietor was very nice and helpful to me. The elevator is fine ... but very small. Only a very minor item of note for a place I would stay again without hesitation!

It was a beautiful room with a great view. It was also located near buses to get to the old part of the city. The couple who own it were extremely nice and invited us over for breakfast. Also the had someone who could pick us up at the airport and drop us off at the train station ( even for a fee, but so reasonable). It was so helpful. Nothing

It was very well positioned with easy access to the city’s metro system and close to the sea front . Nothing.

room was well located but not in the hustle bustle either. everything needed was there. clean, comfy bed. host was fabulous and attended to all requests would recommend all good.

We absolutely loved our room. Very clean, with all amenities you'd need which included coffee/tea maker, complimentary water in the fridge, air conditioning. We arrived in the morning and availed of airport transfer, also we were let into our room ahead of check-in time, which was lovely and really appreciated. I would definitely recommend staying in Maria's property, it's located in a quiet, residential area, there's a small cafeteria nearby to get your coffee and cornetto fix :-) and the room has a nice view of the sea

Location was perfect and accommodation was really clean, modern and nice. My biggest problem was that there is no breakfast option. The accommodation is called bed and breakfast, when you click on rooms there is breakfast option, But in reality -no. i saw host commenting that the breakfast options are explained But n

Location. Is a quiet residential street, far from city central but short walk away from metro station. I had a really nice view from the room and the host was very accommodating with late arrival and payment. Few minor issues, but I would recommend if you are staying in a city for a few days. Could have been a bit more clean. The bathroom shower gel dispenser fell off and the toilet paper quality is horrible. I didn't have breakfast included so I can't comment on that. The door leading to the apartments are squeaky and hard to open.

Maria is an Angel. Because of the sudden ilness of my wife just after the arrival to Naples, we found ourselves in difficulty in an unknown city. We received so much help, assistance and kindness from Maria that I would not expect more from close friends or family. Maria, thank you again. There are no words to express our gratitude. We just wish you all the best in your private life and your business.

The Specchio di Parthenope is in a very nice part of Naples, the area of Chiaia, worth exploring. I chose it on purpose, as it is well connected by public transport, a number of bus and metro lines. The host is very helpful and forthcoming, everyone I met very friendly. My room had a nice view on the bay of Naples and the surrounding area. As it was already fairly warm at the beginning of July, the aircon was much appreciated :)

The landlady received us nicely and answered all our questions and recommended places in the vicinity. Comfortable beds, a large room with all the necessary accessories (towels, shampoo, soaps, kettle, coffee machine). We booked 2 rooms, one had a closet and the other only had a stand for clothes and it was a pity. Other than that, excellent and recommended! There is no closet in the room without a balcony. There is paid municipal parking, there is no private parking of the place.

Loved the view of Naples Bay, Capri and Vesuvius from our balcony. Maria our host was warm and welcoming and invited us up to her rooftop apartment for breakfast and a sweeping view of Naples. There were many restaurants, coffee shops and a grocery store nearby. Nothing
