Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville North Skyline

By default, housekeeping only comes every other day. When I asked the front desk to have them service my room daily, the clerk made me feel like that was an unreasonable request. There is no safe in the room to store valuables. The Peloton in the gym didn’t work properly. The thermostat went down to 65 but it’s probably 3-5 degrees off. There was a single sliding door that serviced both the bathroom and closet which was awkward because you could not access both the bathroom and closet at the same time. The hard boiled eggs at breakfast were rubbery. There’s an attached restaurant with bar on the ground level which was nice.

The staff was extremely helpful!

- As expected, the rooms were very clean, the staff was very available and helpful. - I could see Maintenance continually working on the property. - The breakfast was excellent compared to other Hilton Hampton properties I’ve been to. Parking was simple easy and available. - These are the reasons I give it a five star rating.

We got stuck outside our room for an hour because the battery for the lock died and the person who came to fixed it was on campus. However, he came and let us in.

Good breakfast, spacious room with comfortable beds. We had an issue with the rented car( rented in the airport) and Patrick, the shuttle driver, did his utmost to sort it. He wa diligent, sympathetic and straight to the point . We'd like to thank him(and the lady on the desk) once more❤️

I'm not a Karen, but at least 70% of the point of a hotel room is to sleep. Sure, there's a bathroom, possibly breakfast, and a TV to entertain. But the point is to give you rest for the night. If the room can't achieve that, at $175/night, then is it any good?

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. I returned to this hotel because my experience last year was a good one. THIS YEAR: The hallway and elevator lobby of the level I stayed on had a strong smell of deodorizer. However while the room I stayed in SEEMED clean, upon walking into the room, one was hit by a rank odor that I can only describe as akin to being in a sweaty locker room or like a pair of sweaty tennis shoes had been left in the room for awhile. I was too exhausted to make an issue of it on the first night, but the next day, I asked the front desk if they had a bottle of Febreze or other odor neutralizer that I could spray around the room. The best the front desk staff could do was give me a 99% empty spray can of Lysol, and then they supposedly asked someone from Housekeeping to come up and check on the room. No one ever came. Fortunately, the only time I spent in this room was to sleep. However, in future, if I ever come back to stay here, I will demand another room because the odor WAS that bad. Else, staff was good; Breakfast was very acceptable.

The location and the staff are always the best part of the stay. Parking was difficult and not enough lighting at night in the parking lot.

Seems oddly sketch scared to play in bed
