Hotel im Hegen - Free Parking

There was nothing to like about this place unfortunately. There was no proper ventilation in the room except roof hatch window, no side windows, no air condition. Fan that barely worked. Found cockroaches in the corridor.

Nothing, literally nothing! I have paid everything and arrived there after 12 hours of driving at night 2:40am. it says 24/7 front desk but it’s wrong. no one was there. Then i called and waited another half an hour then one guy came and i took all the baggage upstairs. Then that guy kept me waiting another half an hour then said to me they don’t have room! really?! terrible terrible hotel. poor management! STAY AWAY!!! Nothing, literally nothing! We had VERY low expectations of this place, partly because of the price and location (but suited our needs) but also after reading previous reviews (post booking). But we did not expect this. We had absolutely no troubles in finding the place, as some previous reviews has stated. BUT. When we arrived to check in, we first could't get into the front door. However we were randomly let in by someone who just happened to stand behind the front door (not a door man). Entering the second floor we found a reception desk but there was no one there and no bell. After a while I found a phone number online via booking.com, and someone actually picked up the phone. The guy arrived (very friendly and all) but we were told that a plumber would need to come to fix our room before we could check in - because previous guests had left the tap open while the drain was clogged. Or something. And that was the only room left. 15 mins later or so we were then told that we instead would be rebooked to another hotel. However, not close to original location (which we choose because of vicinity to highway). And when I quickly looked it up, it was reviewed as dirty and being rented out by the hour. So not a very pleasant overnight for me and my kids. A very very bad experience, and I would recommend you to book anything else than this "hotel". Not getting a room for the night, and being rebooked to an even worse one. When you get moved like this, you at least expect some upside. Not only downside.

Close to supermarkets (Aldi etc) Location on industrial site. But this was expected Got not the correct code to get the key. But assistance via telephone was good too help.

Nothing. Poor service and location from beginning to the end. The room was very small, only one bedside table so my partner on his side did not even have a socket to change his phone so I guess this was supposed to be a single room. The room had a roof plexiglass window with no blinds option so we had to wake up at 06:30 on Sunday morning because of strong light. Because the space wa so small and the window could not be open there was also bo ventilation in the room or in the bathroom, we ran out of oxygen very quickly so we woke up with headache, light-headed and extremely tired, it was also very hot due to sera effect of the massive window (that cannot be open, I feel I need to reiterate this). Also there were stains on the walls which looked like snot and also THE BINS WERE FULL, both in the room and in the bathroom. The one in the room had a casserole with food that smells.

The hotel room was large. The decoration was simple and nice. The bathroom was also quite large. We stayed in the summer. The room was hot it felt like someone had the heat on. It was almost unbearable. I found hair on the bed and the towels that were not my own.
