Nasushiobara Station Hotel

Amazing staff! So sweet and great location! Right next to the station.

Right next to the train station so easy to get to after our late arrival and convenient to meet our bike tour company for our onward journey. Clean and quiet, comfortable bed and good shower. Tea kettle and fridge, good Japanese breakfast included in a very reasonable price. Perfect for our one-night stay. Caring staff made great effort to accommodate us as non-Japanese speakers. We really appreciate the professionalism and kindness! The fan in the room was a bit noisy, but had no trouble sleeping.

Air conditioning unit did not work well (adjusting temperature control did not make any difference).

Best price-quality ever Room, breakfast, location

staff were very helpful room was very large and had a lounge area. breakfast was fantastic, a mix of mainly Japanese freshly prepared as well as a few western style options. whilst the hotel was old and dated and could do with some TLC, it was clean comfortable, larger rooms than normal low price with generous breakfast. not a major problem, but something to be aware of. being close to the railway you do hear slight rail noise. not enough that you cannot sleep.

Right next to Nasushiobara Station, on the east side. I needed to get to the west side of the station in the morning to take the Hunter Mountain ski bus. Free coffee in the lobby. After checking out of my room I was allowed to store my luggage until I returned after a day of snowboarding. The breakfast buffet scrambled eggs were overcooked and too salty. That’s about it!

Location. Easy and short walk from Nasu-shiobara station. Room was huge compared to other hotels in Japan. Futon was much comfier than what I had expected. (I was a bit worried if my company from Australia would like it, but she said it was comfy too.) Breakfast selection were pretty much the same during our stay, but the taste and staffs were great. Since the room was big, it took time to warm up the room and around bathroom was pretty chilli. Maps to show laundry facilities and stores that the hotel provide wasn't really up to date. We just used our google map and iphone map to find where we wanted to go.

Closed to the train station. Easy to find. On our second booking for another 2 nights we were given a big room which we really like. The only thing that we do not like is the carpet. It was dirty with the stain. Need cleaning. Room 704 it is.

Great breakfast. Food quality is far beyond expectations.

Location was fantastic, next to the train station. Breakfast was delightful, and a real bonus given the relatively lesser restaurants around the neighbourhood (compared to the neighbouring train stations). The room was spacious and comfortable. Really value for money accommodation.

The location is good as it is just beside the station. There are many restaurants nearby so you definitely don't have to worry about food. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and even when we were still at the carpark, he dashed out to direct us to the available parking lot every time we drove in. The room is also big and spacious, and it has the Japanese element to it, which I truly like, and breakfast spread was good too! Would definitely come back for a stay again!

excellent location, very near train station nil

Breakfast spread was good, traditional japanese breakfast, toast and sausages. Dishes were topped up promptly. We chose JS style room. The shower is separated from the bath tub. The bathroom, toilet and wash basin were separated, so the wash area was spacious. The futon area was spacious, and there were enough space to open our two luggages for packing. I wished there were more electrical outlets in the futon area for charging our hps. The sockets were in one corner of the room, so it was a little inconvenient.
